A small amused grumble made it's way out of ADAMUS' chest as he followed Sabal's antics. Just like that the red piece of cloth was forgotten in favour of some shiny metals. Now that the survivor had been found he positioned himself at the back of the group, leaving the diplomacy to others. He knew from experience his form would not help soothe frayed nerves like that of the gnome right now. Following the conversation at a distance, he perked up at the mention of survivors. The young ones were especially targeted? Despicable. Now then, did they need anything else? The staff might have some meaning, given the attention the mages were giving it.
"ESTEEMED WISE SENTIENTS, I BELIEVE THAT ANY SECOND WE SPEND HERE COULD LEAVE US A SECOND TOO LATE TO HELP ANY SURVIVORS NEAR THE CUTTING AREA. MAY I SUGGEST SIMPLY TAKING THE STAFF WITH US? ALTERNATIVELY, YOU COULD REMAIN HERE AND STUDY IT, PERHAPS SET UP A RALLY POINT." he added his own two cents to the conversation. That done, he turned to Sabal.
"AS FOR YOU SABAL, NO EATING SURVIVORS. NOT EVEN A NIBBLE."
