Thread: Was out killing my sister's rat

  1. #11
I came home one day to see my parakeet laying on the floor of his cage, dead. I cried so much, especially knowing it was my fault because I forgot to feed him. I got a second parakeet, and this one I have remembered to feed.

I'm sorry but you lost me when you started saying you shed a tear over the death of a rat. Replace that with any other animal that isn't a known pest, and you have my sympathy.

On a sidenote, my sister taught a cat to to backflips, and one day it backflipped wrong in the wrong area, and snapped it's neck. I was kind of dissapointed.

Yo, I'ma be gone for a bit. School is ending soon, so, I'll be free for the summer. In the meantime, I may or may not get online. If I find myself on more often, I'll erase the stuff in my sig. Anyway, just so you know, I'll be gone 2 weeks+

I have a rat named Fancy. She's blue. Anyway, as I live 3 hours away from home and I'm not allowed to have animals in the dorm, I left her for my mom to take care of. When I went to visit on Christmas, the woman had allowed a HUGE abscess to grow on Fancy's tummy. It's gross. It's broke through the skin and everything. I told my mom to take her to the vet, but mom says she's too broke. >.> I can't kill my rat inhumanely. But then again, wouldn't it be inhumane not to kill her? She doesn't seem to be in any pain. :/

Add me on skype and I might sing to you.

If she's not in any pain, then there's no reason to kill her, which I think should only be reasonable to put one out of it's misery. Just do some jobs, get some money and save up so you can take her to the vet. Maybe ask people for help and promise to pay them back later.

    What's the difference?
    It's a mammal. It's cute and fuzzy.

House cats are pests when they become feral and ravage game bird populations, even in America.
Dogs are pests when they become feral and are fully capable of destroying a farmer's chicken coup, killing sheep, and twice in 5 years have killed people in Bucharest (And bite people at a rate of 75 per day)

For you blood thirsty fucks, my sister and her husband have a wolf who would like to talk to you:

This is not a wolf. At best this is a wolf hound, a mix of a larger dog breed such as German Shepard and a Grey Wolf(or a first generation wolf hound, making it a second gen) But I would like to meet said hound none the less.

Also, it's regrettable that the rat had to be put down. You and your sister have my sympathies. But at least you did not literally have to pull the trigger yourself as I have.
To what end would I hold this soul that is shattered?
With dead heart so cold and spirit so tattered
My mind in shambles and broken body so battered
Where sorrow has filled the void and I've lost all that mattered
To what end would I hold this soul that is shattered?

I don't have many tragic pet deaths of my own to speak of, but my IRL best friend's guinea pig met a rather gruesome end when another pet of hers, a ferret, somehow managed to escape from his cage, free the guinea pig from hers, and proceeded to brutally murder the poor thing. I'm not even kidding- ferret thought he was just playing, so she told me, but that thing bit into her eyeball, tore off half her face, and I think even tore up her brain a bit after cleaning out her eye socket. I can only imagine what an awful sight that must've been when she found it- blood everywhere, I bet. She called me on her cell phone right after she found the carnage- in desperate need of comfort, I bet. She was crying her eyes out and I could hardly believe the things she told me. It was fucking awful.
