The monster hunting guild I mean. Since you have joined the guild, and have your official liscense, you will take care of quests we assign you. No, you aren't hunting a leviathen, or brute wyvern just yet. You need to prove your mettle by climbing to higher-rank quests.

Well, I'm basing this on CAPCOM's Monster Hunter series, but, you don't need prior knowledge of the games or anything. It's not like we are following some scripted plotline... or are we? No, I'm just ribbing you, I have something in mind of my own in the works.

Basicly, you will be given missions to complete, that your average person can't. Be it, mining rare ore in a volcano, or defeating velociraptor-like bird wyverns, or maybe even taking on dragons and leviathens... sure, you will start out with skimpy armor and such, but if everyone commited to this, they could end up wearing proof of defeating these beasts, and living to tell the tale.

The highest forms of technology, are rifle-like bowguns, traps, sandships, and weapons such as hammers and greatswords.

Anyway, as a group you can take on all these things.

I'd appreciate your input.

I was actually thinking of running a monster hunter game....I have played all of them including portable 3rd. I also use to rp this a lot on another rp site which was chat instead of forum based.

I would love to join maybe as a guild sweetheart who goes to gather intel on the hunts to even tagging along just because she worries.

I have played a hunter before in the rp then was a daughter to the village chief and recently been really into being a guild sweetheart who works for the quest giving board.

Wish my wii was not hacked...I use to play tri online but I hacked it to be able to play japanese games making it not able to access the internet....the whole nintendo being dicks about touching their tech or using gameshark made me take precautions of getting caught and having my wii shut down or banned.

Luckily I found out the first week of owning a wii after it auto locked for me putting a gameshark memory card in. Just told the store it stopped working and they replaced it but I avoided products till a year ago XD

Then saw we could safety hack and lock it so it would not be messed with from anything nintendo put in and was like *Hack slash and dash* I got my japanese imports working now and GC gameshark on it.

I do however play freedom unite and portable 3rd on the ps3 adhoc party if you have a way to play the psp ones across it.

I wish I knew how to play across the comp but I do enjoy being able to use my psp over the ps3 internet and finding players.

okay I rambled and got side tracked a bit XD it is how I am with games love them but I usually play once a week on them since I rp on GW2 almost every other night and always almost instant check this if I am not job hunting...once I get a job I know it will be the same boat me updating after and before shifts since I am instantly notified on my phone when posts are made.

I would be up for either or.....I love a lot of capcom's fantasy/sci fi games like monster hunter and resident evil....hell if you want help story wise I even have the licensed comics and manga from the two series....devil may cry not so much I just couldn't get into the gritty of it.

I totally forgot my brother has a wii he leaves at the house since his girlfriend he lives with has one....I can try to figure out how to do the wii's internet and transfer my save again.

Village Chief's daughter I would most likely not be a skilled hunter in the bit but be eager to help constant getting into trouble a bit

As a guild sweetheart I would be more like Pepper feel from the Iron Man comics being the data nerd and try to help from a distance like staying near camp or keeping a safe amount away from the monster as I point out the weak points and set up traps to hope to resolve it without a killing. But as the manga points out along with MHF2/U a good amount of the monster would be purchased from the guild to help fund and supply the town/village they are located in. Rest will get to keep three to twelve pieces.

This would be something my character complains and does by the way not affecting me either or if we don't keep the rule oocly. Hell there is underground trading markets in Orage who sell monster parts for a hefty price.

Whatever you prefer, the guold swwetheart doesn't sound likethe one from tri who checks her deep, detailed hunters guide and finds nothing on that monster.

And, yea, I like resident evil, Dino Crisis, and I like the premise of DMC. There are a few other Capcom games I've gotten into, anyway,

Since I'll be gone in about two hours till monday, I guess if I don't get any responses untill monday, other than ones from you, we can go ahead with a 1×1, if that'd be alright.... although, I can't bump the thread while I'm gone, and it could get buried... not fair for the group thing. Hrmm..... well, maybe a 1×1 anyway, till intrest builds.

Reminds of how I wanted to my own take on Monster Hunter, but with focus being on expanding to the shenanigans happening in the setting as hinted by the flavor text on various items because there's a lot of way out there stuff that could make for a great RPG
