I'm sick, and I'm sitting here watching DBZ because I feel too shitty to sleep.

I have a couple of questions.

For one thing I got through the Saiyan saga with Vegeta and Nappa earlier. While Goku and Vegeta were fighting, their power levels were literally destroying the fucking Earth just by proximity of the sheer energy they were releasing, which if I remember right was something over 20k. Shit was exploding, there were earthquakes, all that good stuff.

Now, in the Frieza saga, Frieza says his power is over a million. Goku has to far surpass the power level he was at to face Vegeta by going SS. So...wouldn't Namek just, like spontaneously combust or explode or whatever a planet would do under that circumstance? Supposing it was something about Namek, why didn't Earth get buttfucked to shit by Super Saiyan/2/3/4/Fusion SS/Etc? I'd imagine that Earth should have just been like *POOF* Instant space dust.

Another thing I thought of was why in the hell didn't they use the Namekian D-Balls or the Earth ones to wish back the Saiyan homeworld? I mean I distinctly remember they were just likE, BAM! RESTORING EARTH AFTER BUU BLEW IT TO SHIT! BAM! FIXING NAMEK AFTER FRIEZA BLEW IT TO SHIT! BOOM! WISH ERRBUDDY BACK TO LIFE!

Well, I think the biggest thing of it all was that DBZ never was supposed to go as far as it did. The Frieza Saga was supposed to end it all, but there was continuation because the fan base grew so large.

Also, DBZ is probably the worst anime to try and make sense of. So many things in there where you wonder if Akira was on acid or some other hard drug. Haha

Vegeta was making a big deal of his power during the saiyan saga. He was showing off by doing that. Goku was using kaioken, wich amps up his strength and power, but it's a bit hard to controll. (Causing destruction)

Frieza saga? Frieza could controll his power, so no big deal or destruction when he transformed. Most of the time, when a saiyan reaches a new super saiyan form, the power is hard to controll(too much) and begins to waste and burn away quickly. If you watch the cell saga, Goku and Gohan acheive a perfect super saiyan state, in which, the power burns smoothly, and seems much more natural, no anger neccessary, and there isn't much of an aura to it.

I like it a bit(the games mostly) but in truth? Powerlevels are bullshit.

Earth dragonballs could only wish a person back once, or when dende controlled them, twice. The namekian ones were any number of restorations.
And I don't think they really cared to go back to the saiyan homeworld and restore it. Bigger fish to fry.
