I don't think we have to worry about anyone leaving. That should be the least of our concerns, not that we have a whole lot of concerns at all. Life is good.

I'll post right after Warde responds to Drake. How that pans out can change what I have planned for Rael at this moment.

I know. We'll survive one battle without one, though.

I think after the battle I'll open the recruitment to an archer, healer, and/or a horseman, all of which we could use. I'll allow two more players in (one more male and one more female), then I'll close it off again until later. Our maximum number of players may be eight to ten when we finish part one. This way we have a small number to get comfortable with starting off, then growing gradually as time progresses, that way we don't become too big to handle. And if at any time, anyone wants to play as more than one person, all you have to do is come up with a CS. No more than 2-3 characters per player, though.

Veridis, perhaps you would want to be the archer? I won't force you, as it is entirely your choice, but I figured since you wanted to have an archer in here so badly, maybe you could fill that slot for us.

EDIT: Nice IC post, Veridis. Now I'll just wait on Chyoko and Agta to make their posts, even if they're short. Then I'll post for Thane. The action will be soon enough.

In my ideal world, everyone controls one character max. I know I prefer to only have one character per RP so I can make him as solid as possible. The switching around idea hasn't worked so well in the past, but if we never get an archer, I might eventually cave in and try it out.

I also thought about Saura (Rael's sister) making an appearance in the future, but eventually scrapped the idea altogether. I want to focus as much as I can on Rael in particular, since he's so fun to write. I can't imagine making a post without him in it, let alone making an entire post about someone else entirely. Then again, everyone changes over time, so who knows. For the time being, I'll stick with just Rael.

An archer/ranger/bow-person is pretty much as iconic as the knight in heavy armor (which I'll build Rael towards), or the Wizard in robes, or the shadowy thief. That's why I'm so into the idea of getting one for us. I'd like to see a well versed team like that.

I'm so sorry for my absence the past few days. Real Life has been kicking my butt, with a Winter Percussion practice, working on stuff for the spring concert band, and an Honors English Project that I have to finish by Thursday or Friday, not to mention trying to keep up with my Spanish work, and an English research paper that I was assigned today, and I am currently unsure of the due date. Thank God my Calculus class is online and I can just work on that at my own pace.

@VQ: I understand about only wanting to RP a single character. I've seen people like that before, and there are also those who try to put in as many as possible. The only reason I have two (and will have created at least three by the end of this RP, because Thane won't be around forever, I'm sorry to say) is to have an in-charge character (currently Thane), and to also have a follower character (Warde). I've also RP'd alot with the man known as Mercenary Lord, who sort of was the one who has encouraged me to take on multiple characters in one RP, which sometimes helps with the urge to god-mod. You've also piqued my interest with that bit about Saura, and I think it would be cool if she made an appearance, if only temporarily. I can easily put bandits into the storyline, as I've often heard it said "No Fire Emblem game seems complete unless it has bandits" and most FE games have bandits in some way. Even though this isn't Fire Emblem per se, it is similar enough that I could easily have that as a bit of a side quest or something if you'd like.
