Long Live the King - Lion King Doubt

Introduction

Even though I am new to playing doubt I thought that I would try my hand at running a game. So here is my concept Lion King Doubt. The rules will be a little bit different to normal doubt but hopefully it will still be plenty of fun.

Main rule changes

So before we get any further I am going to outline the key rule changes.

Firstly the Mayor will be replaced by the King, the difference here is that there will be no voting for the King. Instead at the beginning of the game the King will be Mufasa. If at any point the current King dies the next In Line will become the new King. First In Line for the throne is Simba and second is Scar. Otherwise the King works the same as the Mayor as they receive two votes at each Lynch vote instead of one.

I have already mentioned Scar who replaces the Killer. Scar wins the game if he becomes King. The Pride (Townsfolk) win if they eliminate all threats to themselves. Note these will not be the only win conditions.

Other than that the only additional rule that needs adding is the no screen shots rule. As a side note, for the sake of game play all roles will be assumed to be lions even if they weren't in the film.

Roles

Mufasa – The King at the start of the game. Double votes for lynching.

Scar – The Killer and second in line to the throne. May kill each night phase. Wins if he becomes King.

Simba – First in line for the throne. Becomes King if Mufasa dies.

The rest are hidden for the time being.

Interesting. Usually the role of Scar is hidden in my roleplays. He's not a killing role, but if he can dethrone Scar in any way, he gains the vote and remains anonymous.
