This definitely looks interesting! I've read through most of everything and just finishing the characters so far. What kind of roles are you looking to be filled right now?

Well we could use characters in Cavenin ofcourse, being nobles or peasants, anything. The civil war is reaching a peak there dduring mid-winter.


In Dunkara there's a Saeronean invasion going on eversince the succesful coup d'etat there.




In any case, whatever you like, but as I'm nowhere near involved with Saeron with my characetr, pick Cavenin That's the largest hotspot right now, as all player characters but ofc the Saeronean characters are currently there. Perhaps a noble or soldier of one of the factions (Asper, Rebellian house Belentor and allies, loyalist House Hawkins (replaced by House Steyhaven) and allies, Vinngealos)


The goal was to give some kind of free sandbox medieval world, where players could do whatever they liked. You can just make a char that has a peaceful life too, we can come and disrupt that then

Okay cool - Cavenin it is! I believe I shall lean towards a noble lady of some types. I'm not 100% on who is on each side - if you could clarify.
Queen Eslandra de Civan is obviously on one side (and an NPC right?)
I believe I may pick a noble - who has decided one side or another (again depending on which side needs more peeps )

Quickly explaining Cavenean civil war:


Roran was summoned to court, heir of House Hawkins, and was appoointed one of the 3 marshals of a rtather large army raised out of thin air by House Belentor. Meanwhile there was a civil war starting to begin in Vinngealos, so they attacked a tad too early. The invasion was repelled and 2 of the 3 marshals got killed and captured, only Arven Belentor, lord of House Belentor (some 25 years old, black hair, black moustache, banenr is a white eagle on a blue field). Count John Evergreen had been killed in the final battle ina friendly fire 'incident' by Arven's archers, while Roran's knights had abandoned their commander during a charge. Roran is captured by Aedan Arianti, field marshal of Vinngealos, who recognises him as an ally due to family ties from the Old Empire.

He was released to return to Cavenin once the 2 figured out House Belentor had meant to get rid of both other marshals. Roran hurried to his father's lands in the far East of Cavenin, freeing the sister of Aedan Arianti by accident. She'd been kidnapped. He arrives near his father and helps him to conquer the main It' Oru island, returned to their rightful owners. They return to the mainland and find Queen Eslandra imprisoned, House Belentor proclaiming to be the new kings. Roran was on his way to Civan while this happened to inform the Queen of their victory and House Belentor's betrayal but was too late, and managed to escape with the sister of Aedan. They were saved by a group of forest bandits preying on House Belentor men, but soon later they were caught.

They tricked his fatehr into exchanging himself for his son, and when they tried to execute both, Roran escaped while his father died in a circle of fire, fighting a giant bear with training weapons. Roran escaped the capital, to run straight into an Asperean invasion force that had tried to beneft from the civil war in, Cavenin, untill their king suddenly died. Their advance was halted and Roran was to be executed, when the heir apparent freed him in exchange for help. She needed a ring and a husband to marry to rule over her kindgom, while the General who was accused of murdering the King, Gamel, had fled, and was trying to obtain the ring to marry Hassis and become King anyways. The ring was on its way but she had no husband. Hassis decided to marry Roran for the good of thhe nation, to get his help as a potent military commander. Soon afetr he left for the East to gather his bannermen and launch a double assault against House Belentor.


That means teher were 3 factions in Cavenin:

House Belentor 'Eagles' = The usurpers
House Hawkins 'Roses' = The loyalists
Kingdom of Asper = Assisted the Loyalists

However, on arriving in his home he found his bannermen betraying him, thanks to Count Aedon Steyhaven and Gamel, the same Asperean general who was accused of murdering the Asperean King. He managed to escape with hassis and his family, but his mother died while fleeing. Their freedom was short-lived as he shortly after was caught and shot from point blank range with a crossbow, and tossed into the Eastern Ocean. His remaining family captured just like Hassis Gamel and Aedon Steyhaven traveleld West towards Renni to attend the peace negotiations.

The kingdom of Asper grew weary of the war, just like a lot of the inhabitants of Cavenin and had organised a peace council in Renni, the town they had captured. All involved nations are invited there, while Aedan Arianti, who had meanwhile gained the throne of Vinngealos would attend the meeting to support his Hawkins allies and make sure the peace would be reasonable.


Now everyone has arrived, and Gamel has both the princess and the ring, all that is required to marry and rule as a king. He'll marry on the 25th of December, the holy day, and afetr his marriage the peace would be negotiated.


The same nameless forest bandits that had helped Roran also had ambushed Gamel several times while travelling West, making his life sour. Princess Hassis can't stop the marriage, because when she doesn't cooperate Gamel will kill the remaining Hawkins' siblings one by one.

anyway, wanted to say that insomnia is playing it's mean trickl on me and that coffee is only changing the blackout curtains around my brains and replacing them with chiffon so I'm knd of braindead right now, will try to post later tonight or hopefully tomorow
