Sure, overland that is. Oversea it's quite fast.
About a month to travel, about two months since the king's death.
Wouldn't you say Ronan? Since it took a month for the letter to reach dervis and a month for him and the mercenaries to arrive in Renni ?

Brief History:
The Brantly Family orginally hails from Dunkura, it was during the time of the Old Empire that the Family moved to the green and fertile lands now known as the Denirak Plains in what is now Asper. Due to the harsh conditions of Dunkura and the lack of adequate land for farming it was decided they would move to the new region northwest in order to raise crops and livestock in order to provide produce and meat for thier kinfolk back home.
When the old Empire collapsed and Hendrik Tirn came to the land proclaiming himself King and renaming the region Asper, tensions grew high and it was feared that they would have to return to Dunkura and leave all they had built behind. Fortunately for the Brantly Family, The new King of Aspers need for allies led to an agreement for the Family to remain on thier farm where the added need to provide food for the peoples of the newly formed Kingdom of Asper only increased the Brantly land holdings and nearly tripled their crop production. With the signing of the Serli Pact, it was decided the the Brantly Family would swear Fidelity to the know recognized Kingdom of Asper. Since that time, the Brantly Family has served the Asper Crown, the Brantly women serving as Handmaidens to the Queen, the Brantly men serving with distinction withen the ranks of the Kings Guard.
While Joshua was still young King Hendrik chose to recognize the Brantly Family for their alligenace and loyalty by offering to send thier Son to train as a Knight and eventually grant him Knighthood when he came of age. However the King had a personal reason for granting knighthood, he needed someone he could trust withen the ranks of General Gamels Knights, and offering to train the young Brantly provided the perfect opportunity to place someone withen the ranks without fear of suspicion. Joshua excelled at training and was granted Knighthood by the King when he came of age and took his place among the Knights of General Gamel, unfortunetly the King didnt live long enough to utilize his unsuspecting mole.

Added to frontpage, go ahead and post!
Well, am looking over the posts now trying to find a good point to come in at, all the colored text is kinda hard to read, red being the worst.
whats been done with the Kings body since the poisoning?
Wouldn't know, probably stored for burial in the King's tomb in Asper?
I'd say as you're one of Gamel's "knights" it's easiest to step in now in a tavern or something, resting after the perilous journey West.
i doubt the king's body would have been sent back to Asper, he died the day they arrived in Cavenin

well, being apart of Gamels Knights am wondering what he would know of the Generals poisoning the King,
Has Gamel kidnapped the Princess, or escorting her to Renni?
She has actually kidnapped her, after killing my character Roran togetehr with Aedon Steyhaven, but does that while saying he actually freed her and 'escorted her'.
He'd probably know as Hassis made Gamel run away after claiming he murdered the King. He took all his men still loyal to him with him, and that's only men that didn't believe it. He has entrusted noone with his plans, but himself.
