The crew of the Achenaran corsair destroyer Vengeance will be visiting a world full of medieval fantasy style races, including human-like humanoids, elf-like humanoids, dwarf-like humanoids, and cat-eared humanoids. We'd love to have a few of the world's natives join us to add some flavor to the crew. Further information on the races of Kolan III, known as Rote to the natives, can be found here.
This is a limited time opportunity, as it is technically a violation of galactic law to recruit low-tech members onto a spaceship's crew. If you have ideas for a race that I haven't thought of yet, feel free to ask them to be added! While fantasy-style races are allowable, actual magic is not. Instead, the Kolonians use alchemy.
Corsair is a science fiction adventure RP, where the characters are members of a privately-owned destroyer tasked to perform special missions in the stars, including pirate hunting and retrieval of rare objects. While humans are not currently active in the universe, human-like aliens and alien-like aliens are all acceptable character options. I enjoy the creative variety of crew members, and encourage interested writers to apply! Applications are always open.

Bad guys? Maybe, but keep in mind bad guys can have very short life expectancy if not played well. And possibly a fairly short life expectancy if they ARE played well.

So...I can bring in my medieval fantasy healer in to this?.. It sounds very interesting.
Well your healer wouldn't have access to magical healing, since it's still a sci fi universe, but might be very good with herbs and anesthetics and such. But they can be a fantasy-styled race.
