I just want to figure out the where and how he ends up training elsewhere...its something I should sort ouut first.

True, maybe he could go to ireland because thats where she's from and he thought that everyone from ireland would be like that and it would teach him to be like her......maybe?

I don't think he had picked up much about her. Anyways, he doesn't have much money, so I guess he leaves town and gets a job as _____ ...which involves travelling? I don't know.

Yeah that might work. Where would he end up to train, we could be incredibly vague and be like I went to the mountains and trained with ........the master.....of......a temple.....or something.
