Caelum: Well the story is about animal pirates so not pure human, but you can make them almost human, as long as they are part animal. Perhaps cat eyes or something subtle.

I distinctly remember some mythical prophecy of an OoC. Sorry if I seem impatient, just don't have ANY active RP's going, as they all mysteriously die before reaching far enough to make a proper IC lately >>

My challenge to myself from now on. I will accompany every IC post with a picture I draw, regardless of how bad it is. I may not be able to put one up if the potato I call my broadband acts up however.

And I know what you mean. I was in all these awesome rps and then suddenly they stopped. So sad.
Yeah, I've been a member since 2009 and I've left a few months at a time because I struggle to find Rp's that last and then get frustrated enough to wander away for a time before giving it another shot.
I know how you feel. Its worse when your part of more than 3 and they all die at once. You’re left with a feeling of 'now what?’
I try to balance 4-5 at a time, 2-3 active ones and 1-2 slow ones, and when all of them die at once, that's usually when I die off for awhile =X
