Personality:
Seiya is passionate. That's the best word to describe him. He's intense, a very focused individual. He is kind, if slightly brash and cocky, and believes strongly in Konoha. Most Shinobi do, but Seiya seems to take it to extremes. From a young age, he has always been standing up for those he sees as comrades, namely near anyone in Konoha who isn't being a prick to other people. He is very protective, and has a somewhat natural instinct of self-sacrafice. If he walked into a 3 v 1 brawl, to stop a small child being picked on, and came out battered and bruised, he would grin and wave any offers of help away, as long as the child was safe. He is also quite stubborn, determined.
This type of personality lead him to become a Shinobi. He is quick to make friends, but also quick to make enemies. He isn't really a great speaker, but he will always try to be honest, and tends to talk bluntly, though he knows the moment to shut up when it comes. Seiya believes that effort should be put into things that mean something. Things that he sees as a righteous or just cause. He will always fight for a cause he sees this way, and this is one of the things driving him every day.
His early childhood has led him to believe that his fists, not his words, should do the talking. He is not one to immediately jump into the fray, no... but when things get going, he tends to prefer to use his fists. This is one of the things that makes Seiya... well, Seiya. Another thing about him is his surprising intelligence. He has a quick mind, and learns fast, and has a natural grasp of things like tactics and strategy. This is... something very little people know about him, because of his tendency to head in fists first, rather than step back and think for a second.
Background:
Seiya was born in Konoha, to a Shinobi mother and a civillian father. His father is a store owner, as was his father, both of them working in a Shinobi Goods store. This was how his parents met: His mother tended to buy from that store, and they often talked small talk while she was shopping, or even talking merits of different items. Eventually, one thing led to another, then that thing led even further, and voi la: Seiya.
Seiya, in his childhood, was always curious, messing around with things he shouldn't have, going places he shouldn't be. He caused alot of distress for his parents. Eventually, he grew out of that phase, and started doing MORE things wrong: Constantly getting into fights. Whether it be because they were bullying someone else, or they were bullying him, or merely acting disrespectfully or rudely, Seiya would fight. He'd often come home bruised and battered with half-baked excuses, before a tongue-lashing from his mother quickly raked the truth from him. Shuffling his feet, eyes to the ground he'd 'fess up that so on was bullying so forth, or some other such, and he just... jumped in. It was how he was.
It did, however, pave a grand path for someone looking to be a Shinobi. By the time he joined the Academy, he was well versed in Hand to Hand combat, and with the addition of actual skill, he became fearsome in Taijutsu, one of the top of his class, early on. By the time he had reached his last year, he had dropped off a bit, but he was still within the top 10.
Appearance:
Seiya stands rather tall for his age, and has a solid frame and body, mostly from his vigorous Taijutsu training and brawling. He has red hair, inherited from his mother, and green eyes. His hair is messy and unkept, mostly, as he tries to keep it short to minimize the keeping it actually needs. He has tanned skin, from being outside quite a lot. As attractiveness goes he is... not anything great, but not average either. His physique may add to that effect, slightly. His shoulders are rather broad, for a 13-year old's, with his muscles being rather defined, as opposed to bulky. He is rather slim, aside from his muscle, as he tends to eat rather healthily, due to his mother's influence, and does get a lot of excersize.
He tends to wear rather sturdy clothing, usually in a dark red or black. A simple long-sleeved shirt, with a jacket over the top covers his torso, while shorts that end just below his knee cover his legs. He wears gloves, generally in the same colour as his other clothing, though he tends to replace gloves quite a bit. He has taken to wearing plated gloves, much like Anbu do, by reccomendation of his mother, to help with his defense against weapons.
Abilities and Armament:
Seiya is a great Taijutsu user. From an early age, he has been fighting with his fists, so he has, naturally, picked up a bit of skill with it here and there. Surprisingly enough, Seiya is also quite good at Ninjutsu, though he finds hand seals annoying to use. Genjutsu... he lacks the subtlety to utilise it effectively, but he can handle it when used against him decently enough. His basic chakra control is good enough, and his natural chakra reserves are high. He is decent with weapons, but in a real fight, would be better off with his fists. He has the baseline of stealth required to pass the Academy.
On a note mostly unrelated to the Shinobi Arts, he has a good eye for quality equipment, mostly picked up from what little helping he's done around his father's store, and what his father has taught him.
