Personality: Self reliant and arguably more villain than hero. Jonathan Lance strongly believes in the ends justifies the means. He's not above taking a lives of a few to save the many. Jonathan believes in the power of fear and that making a man afraid to break their spirit is the greatest power a man can hold over another. For this reason, Jonathan preys on those he wishes to dominate. Jonathan takes personal pleasure in breaking down those in the position of power, he loves to bring down corrupt crime lords and bring them to their knees, sobbing for their mothers. For this reason, Jonathan doesn't take well to authority and very rarely is willing to work alongside others.

-Advanced Compound Bow: Fear's bow is his main weapon of choice and is highly versatile in combat. In its standard form it acts as a bow for his many trick arrows, allowing him to fire them with incredible accuracy and speed. The bow is also able to fire over far distances, easily matching if not out doing any military grade sniper rifle. The bow's compound system greatly augments the human strength allow even a simple pluck of the string to easily fire over a hundred feet. This is made even easier by the long range scope and laser sight attached to the bow. When not notched with an arrow, the bow is able to release a short concussion wave to knock back enemies. In close quarter combat, the bow is able to be used as a both a bō-staff and a three section staff (sansetsukon). The string of the bow is a series of very intricately bound cables and the bow is able to either straighten to form the bō or for the string to be re-positioned to become the sansetsukon.
-Revolving Cross Bow: For a closer range with rapid fire, Fear carries a cross bow with a revolving bolt chamber. The crossbow is capable of being armed with eight consecutive shots which can be fired off quickly at any given moment. The crossbow easily collapses into a gun holster on his left hip. In addition, the crossbow is capable of firing a longer distance, and is armed with a scope and laser sight for these instances.
-Wrist Mounted Cross Bow: On Fear's right wrist there is a small cross bow. This bow is used primarily for small dart like bolts often armed with poisons or sleeping agents.
-'Trick' Arrows: Being the current incarnation of the "Green Arrow", Fear uses a variety of 'trick' arrows with his bows. Though none are ever as gimmicky as the original Green Arrow, Fear uses a very wide variety of arrows. Another note about Fear's arrows, they are all held collapsed in a cylinder like form on various belts that Fear wears. This frees Fear of the burden of a quiver as well as allowing the arrows not only to be expanded and fired but also used in a grenade like manner.
Notable examples of Fear's arrows include:
Smoke Arrow/Gas Arrow: Arrows that release a cloud of smoke or gas which conceal or incapacitate Fear's enemies. These arrows can be laced with a wide variety of gases and coloured smokes. Most varieties carry a less hazardous version of the Scarecrow's fear gas which causes Fear's enemies to hallucinate and see him as even more terrifying than his costume already makes him. They can also carry tear gas, laughing gas, or sleeping gas.
Flash Bang Arrow: An arrow which explodes with a blinding flash of light and an incapacitating sonic blast.
Electric Arrow: An arrow which carries a powerful jolt of electricity. The voltage can be adjusted from a level that would simple shock to turn someone to ash.
Incendiary Arrow: An arrow which upon impacts release a highly flammable liquid which quickly ignites and spreads.
Poisoned Arrow: Arrows laced with various poisons. Fear uses these arrows as a stealthier alternative to the smoke and gas arrows. However the poisons these arrows can be laced with can differ from the Gas Arrows.
Impact Arrow: An arrow which releases a powerful concussive blow to the target. The level of impact can be modified from staggering to cleanly knocking a man off his feet.
Harpoon Arrow: Used for anchoring ziplines or cables. Though Fear has impaled opponents with these arrows before.
Line Arrow: An arrow containing a cable for crossing wide gaps or scaling buildings. Often used in conjunction with the Harpoon Arrow.
Net Arrow: An arrow which releases a weighted net. The net can be modified in terms of weight or to release a gas or electric charge.
Laser Arrow: An armor piercing arrow which uses a laser to burn through the protective shell of the target in order to deliver a vital blow.
Hacker Arrow: An arrow which can hack through electric locks one shot at them. The arrow can be upgraded for more advanced security systems.
Standard Arrow: Standard arrow, sharpened with a laser for an ultra fine point. Fear carries three varieties, one for each of his weapon.
-Advanced Body Suit Armor: Fear wears an advanced body armor which augments his strength, speed and durability by a factor of seven. His suit has been modified to resemble a tattered scarecrow like appearance with a black sketch of a skeleton over top of his body. He wears cowboy like boots that have plated armor on them, as well as armored braces which each have two scalloped blades. Over his face, he wears what looks like a burlap sack with a black skill drawn over it. The one eye socket has a glowing red lens while the other eye appears to have nothing. Around his neck hangs what appears to be a severed hangman's noose. Overtop of his mask he wears a large tattered hood which further obscures his face. In addition to this he wears a rugged duster and a wide brimmed hat embodying the look of the Scarecrow.
