This is the story of a princess, who is betrothed to a prince, an arranged marriage that the princess really doesn’t want. So one day she sneaks out of the castle, dressed as a peasant, just wanting to get a way for a while. But what happens when she meets a pauper, and falls in love. The pauper doesn’t know that she’s the princess. Will he still love her when he finds out? And what will the King and Queen think of this relationship?

Name: Alaysia Waybright

Age: 22

Bio: Alaysia is a princess, and she is betrothed to Prince Edmand of the neighboring territory. Her parents are counting on this marriage to form an alliance between the two territories. But Alaysia can't stand the prince, he acts like every one should worship the ground he walks on, and it gets on Alaysia's nerves. She really hates the way he acts like he owns her just because they are betrothed.

Personality: Alaysia is very strong willed, and she cares deeply for the people of her territory. She often dresses as a peasant and goes into town, just so she can see how the people of her territory really are living. It breaks her heart to see them in such poverty, but she knows that most of the people resent the royal family, so she is always extremely careful when she leaves the castle grounds.
