Name: Cosmic Horror
Species: Living Void Entity
Age: 200
---
Appearance: Cosmic Horrors vary greatly in appearance.
This one resembles an unevenly round and terribly disfigured giant spider mixed with an octopus that floats in the air. It consists of a head of a horrific spider with a mouth full of spikes like that of an octopus with many appendages that look like spider legs mixed with octopus arms sticking out from the back of its head and all around its body. It is a color that human minds can’t register, but is mostly substituted for black and has an ethereal or ghost like appearance to it. All of its appendages are sharp at the ends and can cut or impale a target.
---
Abilities:
If someone has never seen a Horror before looking at one hurts the mind horribly as it struggles to make sense of it. This mental anguish doesn’t last too long depending on the person even taking only minutes to get over, but this may prove to long if the Horror is after you. Children’s minds are often hit hardest by this effect due to not being fully developed yet.
…
Like most horrors this one can fly and move its body freely through the air.
…
They have a high pitched scream that not only hurts the ears, but also have the same mental stressing effect there appearance does. Only takes longer to get over, but stops hurting the moment they stop screaming.
…
Horrors have the unusual ability to reflect pain. Meaning any damage they take is reflected back on the attacker.
...
The damage to reality is felt by the things around them. Meaning you feel awful being around them.
...
Creates an external parasite similar to a slug that finds a host and take control of their mind and uses them to aid the Horror.
The parasite can’t be removed by ripping it off or you’ll be ripping off the hosts skin. Recommend mosquito tactics or exploding it.
…
It can also create an internal parasite that slowly breaks down the body and mind of its host before turning the host into a horror.
This parasite acts more like an infection and can take anywhere from days to a week before the infected turn. The infection symptoms are much like a cold at first that worsens over time. The host will usually become too weak to move and have bad dreams, and hallucinate when there awake. The final symptoms are that their skin will start to turn grey over time and they start to vomit blood. Once a host is fully turned the hosts body will be torn apart and turned into a lesser horror. That appears to be a smaller version of the main horror with the same. Note: If the main horror is killed and the infected hasn’t turned into a horror yet that they will be cured.
…
Getting wounded by a horror will lead to you getting infected.
---
Bio: Cosmic Horrors are entities of void that have chosen to take form in void instead of waiting to become part of a world. They have an unstable existence and often appear to take on random forms, though spider like forms seem to be common. They’ll look like a chimaera done wrong most often yet there ability to fly makes mobility not an issue. They will make their way into worlds through tears in reality or if they’re strong enough make their own way in. Their unstable existence damages the fabric of reality and weakens it. Over time this will lead to more horrors tearing their way into a world an eventually leading to its collapse. This horror has taken resident somewhere in the city of New York and is hidden. The City has been quarantined due to the outbreak of some unknown disease. Many strange creatures have been sited, but remain in the city.
---
Reason to stop it: A Horror infestation is damaging to the fabric of reality and over time will lead to the fall of a universe, but not before creating many more horrors that would spread to other worlds. Your goal is to stop the first horror from starting the infestation that will ultimately leads to the fall of this reality.

The boss seems workable, although there are a few details that might provide trouble...
