Edmund sat at a small desk typing away on a small keyboard and staring at a small computer screen, he had grown accustomed the cramped and claustrophobic conditions that had become his workplace but he still got frustrated with the out-dated technology he was forced to use. Leaning back on his seat, the British man reached into his pocket and retrieved a cigar and lighter. "Sir..." A nearby technician said timidly."You, erm...You can't smoke on board." Edmund let out a brief laugh. "Relax, I know the rules." He assured the man but ignoring the warning and lighting the cigar, he then once again reached into his pocket and rooted around for a small sliver cap that he fixed onto the end of the cigar that was now in his mouth. "It's a filter, designed it myself." Before he could get comfortable a small beep came from his computer. "Looks like I've got an appointment, would you mind finishing up this work for me? Nothing too complicated, just a bit of number crunching." Without waiting for an answer Edmund stood and walked away. "Thanks!" He shouted over his shoulder. Before long he was entering the briefing room, he casually saluted the commander and slumped into one of the chairs next to Megan with his arms folded. "Miss Yin." He acknowledged the woman with a nod and waited for the others to arrive.
