    Name: Rygar
    Age: 36
    Gender: male
    Race: dwarf
    Profession: Inquisitor
    Appearance:

-- I know, but this is how I've described Rygar for years and now that there's a picture for him, I couldn't resist

Background: Rygar was found on the doorstep of the Church of Mother Earth in the Dwarven Kingdom of Rock Peak and was taken into their care. He spent his life growing up learning the traditions and honor of the Dwarven people, which fascinated him far more than the teachings of Mother Earth. This leads many to believe he was the son of a poor miner, or someone working closely with the stone. He was given the choice of donning the sacred beliefs of Mother Earth as a cleric or to strike out into the world as an inquisitor for his people. He of course, choose the latter, relishing the opportunity to see the world and learn the place his people had in it. Countless adventures into dangerous ruins and heart pounding hunts after powerful beasts and dangerous people made his life as exciting as he could have hoped. He has been at it for nearly 25 years and loves each and every expedition.

He has made many friends in his travels and has a place to call home in nearly every town, usually just at the taverns for being such a loyal customer. The only thing he cherishes more than the adventure, is a tall pint of ale and the merry company of the hearty townsfolk. Currently, Rygar has been sent out by the church to track down and bring to justice a dwarf that has been accused of murder and fled rather than face the charges. Normally, a job that would be passed to another, but given that the victim was a member of the church and a good friend, he volunteered for the hunt and has eagerly set out.

Personality: Rygar is courageous, rarely ever backing down from a fight unless it's clear there is a better option. He has always been loyal to the few that he has called friends and tends to stick to his teachings from the church. This causes him to have little care for death. He doesn't like to kill, but believes it is fate that puts you in the way of his blade and holds no remorse for the lives he takes. Like most dwarves, he has a distrust for Humans and Elves and a hatred for Orcs. Never able to turn a blind eye to injustice, his conscience has often landed him in trouble, but his skill with a blade is enough to get him out. An opinionated and fun-loving Dwarf, those that know him have nothing but kind things to say...mostly.

Pros: Skilled swordsman and fair bowman. Knowledgeable of lore around the land. Hardy stature allows strength when needed. Ties with church grant some improved status in Dwarven culture. Knowledgeable of mechanics and traps.
Cons: Generally not trusted among humans and elves. Solitary status can make him an outcast to his people. Short stature limits mobility and hardy physique makes sneaking difficult. Not great in political situations.
Equipment: Wears what's in the appearance. He wields a bow and arrow and a longsword for when things get close. He has an amulet around his neck that is a symbol of his church and is supposed to ward off dark magic. Otherwise, just basic adventuring supplies, tent, rations, etc.

    Name: Syrona Ortiz

    Age: 23

    Race: Imperial

Weapon: Imperial Bow and Steel Arrows

    Skills:
    -- Talented Marksman
    -- Trapping and Poison

    Equipment:
    -- Hunter Outfit (in pic)
    -- Imperial Bow
    -- Steel Arrow x30
-- Iron Dagger (for skinning animals)
    -- Paralysis Poison x3
    -- Flint
-- Med-kit (Bandages, thread, needle, health potion)

    Job/Profession: Hunter

    Strengths:
    -- Deadly with a bow
-- Knows the woods well, where to hunt, what to eat, etc.
    -- Many friends throughout Skyrim

    Weaknesses:
    -- Struggles in close combat
-- No knowledge of magic and the arcane arts
    -- Curiousity killed the cat

    Background:
Syrona was born to post-war Skyrim and has therefore not seen it in its darkest times. Her father was a member of the Legion and took part in the civil war. As a young girl, he told her stories about the Dragonborn and the war that plagued Skyrim. Every night she would sit by the fire as her father danced in the light, acting out the great battles he was in and some he likely wasn't. She was entralled by the glory of the Legion and the adventures of the Dragonborn. She made a vow to grow up a great warrior and live out her own legend. But, eventually you grow up. No new wars came to Tamriel. No dragons poured from the mountains. Life was as it always had been for decades before the Stormcloak Rebellion.

Since those days, she has travelled the land and has almost forgotten the dark themes and adventure her father tried to plant in her head. She has been on her own for years, using her father's bow to make a name for herself as a hunter. She mostly took the path in order to travel across Skyrim and see all that it had to offer. She tends to spend months in a single town or city, hunting in the forests and mountains nearby and then selling the pelts and meat to the locals. Always friendly and fair on her prices, she has made many friends in the villages she travels and is usually welcomed wherever she has been. Occassionally her skill set is contracted for other affairs, such as clearing monsters or hunting fugitives. As long is the pay is good and her work betters Skyrim, she is always happy to help. Curious in nature, Syrona sometimes finds herself in trouble with the guards for 'asking to many questions' or 'snooping around where she ought not to'.

After accompanying some mages from the College of Winterhold to clear out a pesky Frost Troll in the area, she decided she had enough of the constant snowing and travelled south. She picked a small town that she had yet to visit, Tearstead, and made for the new village. The trip came with it's own worries. Many of the small villages across Skyrim were under attack by this Bandit King and Tearstead could end up being one of them. However, after three weeks in the small village, no attack came. Her fears of Bandit raids became non-existant and her simple life continued, uninterrupted as a temporary citizen of Tearstead. And another day of hunting was underway

    Name: Florin "Syn" Moria
    Age: 23
    Gender: Female
    Race: Halfling
    Profession: The Wolf Witch
    Appearance:
    Syn

Background: Florin Moria was born to a simple healer in the Halfling village of Suncrest Hill and was learning to follow her mother's foot steps. One night when she was just 10, the village learned that Florin's mother had been practicing in dark arts and believed her to be possessed by a demon of the other realms. Fearing for their lives, Florin's mother took her deep into the forest to hide among the darkness that engulfed it. It was there, in a simple hut among the trees, that Florin continued her studies of magic and grew up to be quite the healer. The forest became her passion and she fought daily to help purge it of the evil that bred in its wood. However, no matter how hard she tried, the forest could not be healed. It wasn't until she was much older that Florin learned her mother truly was the monster that the village accused her of being and that her connection with demonic forces was preventing the forest from healing. With a heavy heart, Florin demanded her mother to leave and never return. With the source of evil gone, the forest began to heal.

One harsh winter forced Florin to work longer than normal in the forest and she wound up being spotted by a group of hunters. They mistook her for her mother and chased her through the trees. The forest came to her rescue. A pack of wolves emerged from the trees and attacked the hunters. They had only intended to scare them off, but in the scuffle a hunter was killed. The surviving Halflings fled back to Suncrest Hill and spread the stories of the dark magic she used to taint the forest and how Florin commands the forest to kill all who enter it. They also gave her a new name, Syn. Now, the years have passed and little has changed. Most in the world now know her as Syn, the Wolf Witch, and fear to tread anywhere near her 'cursed' woods. In reality, the forest is prospering and she often travels beyond the safety of the trees to provide healing services to the surrounding villages. It has been so long that nobody remembers her and she can usually pass through freely without being recognized.

Personality: Bubbly and out-going, 'Syn' is far from what the rumors say about her. She loves all living creatures in the world and despises the manipulative demons that plague the other realms. Her time in the forest has given her a connection with animals that forces her to take preference to their lives as opposed to a humanoids. A bit naive due to her time in solitude, her trips to town often end in her getting scammed one way or another. She can often get lost in thought and remain quiet for minutes and then randomly spew out the point she is at in her thought process. Many towns that don't recognize her as the Wolf Witch describe her as the mental girl that wanders from town to town.

Pros: Talented in healing magic, knowledgable of other magics. Short and light on her feet, an excellent choice for stealth. Can 'communicate' with animals through emotion and understanding.
Cons: Reputation that causes hostility, not well versed in combat magic, socially akward, easy to take advantage of.
Equipment: Everything in appearance pic, carries around runes that she discovers on her journeys (she doesn't know what they do, just likes the 'artwork' on them)

    Name: Ryder Montierro
    Age: 23
    Appearance:

Personality: Calm and tactical, Ryder never takes things for what they appear. He always tries to see the bigger picture and does what is necessary to uphold whatever little justice remains in the Freelands. He always puts the people he loves first and when they are threatened, he'll kill everything in his way to keep them safe.
    Background:
Ryder was born after The Purge to a poor painter in Queen's Haven. His mother couldn't afford much for her paintings and often Ryder went hungry or scavenged. When his mother fell into a trap with a rich business man that ended in him owning her, Ryder took off in the night and turned his back on Queen's Haven. He took residence with a successful rancher about 50 miles away and worked the rest of his life.

When he turned 14, the rancher taught him how to shoot and fight. Ryder was a natural and was entrusted with the protection of the ranch, a job he did tremendously well. Whether it be coyotes or bandits, he fought off whatever came sneaking onto the ranch. Until one night, he was caught off gaurd. The day was unusually hot and after all the chores, Ryder was too exhausted to stay up and so the rancher covered his shift. That was when the gunfire started.

Ryder bolted up and ran outside. He saw the rancher lying dead on the ground, surrounded by men armed with rifles and dressed in blood red outfits, or maybe it was just blood-stained. Then, his head lit up on fire and he lost all sight. When he came to, the men were dragging the ranchers daughter and wife around the back of the house. Surprised to see him awake, the men decided Ryder was stronger than he looked and knocked him out again.

This time, when he awoke, the terrible towers of Queen's Haven greeted him. He never thought he would return to this miserable place and couldn't help but wonder if his mother was still alive. Ryder wasn't alone, there were dozens of others. He couldn't see the rancher's family. The bandits pushed everyone into these small shacks that could only hold about eight each and bolted the door as they ordered them to rest. The next morning they would be auctioned off as slaves, a fate Ryder would not accept.
