Going to make a new CS for a low ranking member in Dukes instead of that cliché shit I posted earlier.

Excuse me. I'm having a very busy weekend moving back into my apartment after being home for the holidays. I will address your concerns and make the OC soon. However, I would appreciate it if you were to exercise some patience before criticizing myself and others in this thread for being inactive. Simply because no one responded to your post in six hours does not mean we have abandoned this topic. Perhaps people are busy elsewhere -- I for one tend to be busier on the weekends because I prefer to spend my free time doing things other than checking the forum.

I would be happy to look at your CS as soon as I am done finishing up the factions and creating the OC. That's all a bit higher on my priority list than one application.

Suit yourself. I had no problem with your other character, really. Cliches exist for a reason; as long as we don't abuse them, they're effective writing tools. Cliche things became cliche for a reason; they were so popular they became overused. However, no character can truly avoid cliches -- sometimes compelling characters have to embrace cliches, like a quest for redemption or the motivation to rise to the top of the food chain. Noir thrives off of some of these cliches, for example: the femme fatale, the corrupt cop, the righteous PI, the hitman with nothing left to lose. All these cliches are actually staples of the story we're trying to tell.

Interesting idea, but this thread is a mess. I'll stalk until an ooc thread.
