That's how I usually am Azena. Occasionally two beers and I'll be tipsy but it all depends on mind set I've discovered. If I went out with some friends to shoot pool determined to get hammered out of my mind I'd be the one driving home cause everyone else would get nice and toasted and I would only have the slightest buzz usually. lol.

But if I went out wanting to just have some fun, shoot a couple games and relax, next thing I know I'm a beer and a half in and well on my way to the land of drunkering.

Throughout this past 12 days of Yule I am surprised I was coherent as I was. Most every night is filled with toast upon toast upon oath upon song upon story which all require the consumption of mead, wine, ale, and whiskey at numerous points. 90% of it is all home made, distilled, brewed, or vinted and typically packs a punch. One year I will have to count the tankards, horns, and mugs that we drain over these past 12 days.

I should be a normal functioning human being for the RP though... Until Disting at the end of the month.

I am sorry to hear that, you'd be a welcomed guest at my small Kindred if you'd ever want to come. It is hard to get together because we all live apart but Yule and Winter Nights (Samhain) are the two we always try to make into a Blot and Sumbel for the group.

I love Brags and Boasts because, one the songs, stories, and tales are great fun. Two, they allow all of us to reaffirm the good that his been done by Gods, Ancestors, and ourselves. Three it keeps us honest because no one that takes it seriously (it is great fun, not dour, but also a powerful rite) would offer a brag or boast that was not true; and finally it gives a time to reaffirm oaths to each other. Peoples word means less today than it ever did before so it is good to be held to your word by a Kindred.
