Well! That's more than just a pretty face:

Shirakiin Chihiro stands at about 5'4, weighing about 115 lbs. She is known for her pale, flawless skin and deep red eyes. Her hair is long, reaching her mid-back, and her face round is framed with a hime-like cut. Her body type is somewhat slender, with larger thighs and upper arms, and is held with the regalness and maturity of a lady. She moves gracefully, fully control of her movements, and looks as though she is aware of every move around her. When not wearing her school uniform, which consists of a dark colored sailor-fuku and long, pleated skirt, she is in either an undergarment or yutaka. When out and about (which is rare)she wears many different type of clothes, but is mostly seen wearing her black deep V-neck dress with four buttons on each and no sleeves. Underneath, she wears a white long sleeve ruffle blouse. She enjoys darker, bland colors such as grays, whites and blacks when she goes out in public. She is rarely seen out of the Seer House, though, so she simply has a closet full of unused clothes,


Introduce Yourself:
Shirakiin Chihiro, the youngest daughter of the old Shirakiin family.

What kind of person are you?:
Chihiro does not make friends easily because of her family name and her strange shyness. Very ladylike and polite around elders, she is not one for talking out of turn. She has a quiet, soft voice that could be related to the wind made by a butterfly’s wings. In school she is silent, always staring off into space or reading a book or studying. She sometimes appears to have a cold, knowing look in her eye, as if she sees something the others don’t. She is constantly put down for her shy attitude, good grades, and family name, and from this she gained a rather sharp tongue which she hides behind said quiet demeanor. She's very intelligent and takes things seriously, sometimes too seriously. As stubborn as a mule, she will not move from whatever she is doing or protecting until it is completely right or done. If she has made a mistake, she will continuously bow and beg for forgiveness in that soft, emotionless voice of her’s. She is otherwise emotionless from afar, as no one has ever seen her get angry or happy in public areas. If you manage to break the awkward barrier friendship around Chihiro, she will be more open and talkative. Her openness will reveal her somewhat naïve and sweetside, and she will constantly smile around you and ask for your help on small things. There is another side to Chihiro, though, that sharp tongued, witty side. She is constantly judging other people silently thinking if ways to use them to her advantage. Chihiro is truly sarcastice and cynical, but a true friend through and through. She will constantly throw insults at an enemy is she is rallied up enough. This is similar to her fits of anger and sadness, where instead she yells insults at herself if there is no one around to scream at. She is very self-conscious of herself and constantly puts herself down. She can be, at times, selfish and bossy, especially to servants of her house.

Tell us about yourself!:
Because of her family name and shy demeanor, Chihiro has little friends. Those she really talks to are servants of her family or teachers in school.

Somewhat athlethic, Chihiro enjoys karate, and kendo above all other sports. When she was younger, her brother and sisters constantly scolded her for climbing trees or punching stuff, telling her that if she were caught Grandmother would punish her.

Has trouble following directions.

Terrible at singing and playing instruments, has terrible sense of beat and rhythm.

An honor student, Chihiro is very studious and smart. She normally gets top grades.

Can't stand hot weather. When questioned about it, Chihiro will simply say, "It is harder to get comfortable in warm weather. With cold weather, it is simply to find a warm way to get comfortable."

Very picky about her food. Not a fan of fish.

Can't stand coffee, hot chocolate, milk, and juice. Sticks to tea and water normally. If a drink is too hot, she will not drink it until ultimately cool. If offered a drink she does not like, she will accept it anyway, as a way of being polite.

When Chihiro is gossiped about, it is normally scorn. Some say her family had used money to get her into the school, while others say the teachers are bribed to give her good grades. Most are untrue.


Where do you come from?:
The Shirakiin is a very old and important family. Their main focus is based around a large fashion industry, making them an incredibly wealthy household. The main house is located in Kyoto, while lesser houses are scattered among Japan. The main family at the moment consists of Grandmother, Mother and Father, Hitoshi, Ryoko, Ami, and finally Chihiro, but she was removed at the age of ten. These seven members were assigned to live in the main estate. Grandmother Shirakiin is strict and proper and is always ready to scold a child if needed. She is in charge of the house and as such is responsible for sending their daughters and sons as representatives to other families. Assigned marriages are not a rare occurrence, nor are forced friendships between the children of these families. Because of Chihiro’s strange abilities, she was separated from the main house and her birth parents and she was into a house run by a mysteriously familiar woman by the name of Risha. Now, Risha was old, very old, but she had the same abilities as Chihiro, the ability to see things that are not supposed to be seen. Risha trained Chihiro, who simply went along with it because of her interest and strange need too. Risha explained that the house, though not as high up as the Main House, was an important neccesity to the Shirakiin family. Chihiro dubbed it the Seer House in the back of her head.

Chihiro was meant to become the next head of the Seer's house once Risha died, but even after seven years, the old lady kept hanging on. She hasn't seen her parents or older siblings for about seven years now, however, she is constantly visited by her Grandmother for lessons or to be sent as a representative to another house.

The Seer House, though not as big as the Main Estate, is a simply large Eastern Style mansion. The house itself is constructed of five main buildings; living area, bedrooms, kitchen and dinning area, dojo, and seeing room. The largest building is the dojo. Outside of the dojo, a stone path leads into a rather quiet and peaceful garden. A small stream runs under a cute wooden bridge while various trees and flowers color the area in serenity. Continue on the stone path to get to the smallest building, The Seeing Room, where a shrine is held and where Risha, head of the house, spends most of her time. The living area, bedrooms, and kitchen are three medium sized buildings connected by narrow paper and wood hallways.

Put your best foot forward!:
As a way to keep herself safe and because she actually enjoys it, Chihiro keeps herself fit and focused with kendo and karate. While she is a bit sketchy with karate, her balance and ability with a sword is practically unmatched.

Her Seer ability, Divination or to see paranormal entities, traces of somethings left behind long ago, and at times (in small flashes) the future. While Chihiro has bad eyesight when normally looking, her sight with Divination is sharper.

Her penmanship and ability to write long, intricate letters.

Other?:
Like all the other Seers of the Shirakiin, Chihiro has a birthmark on her chest in the shape of an eye.

Megumi Kimiko is her cousin.
