Joker leaned back and looked over to Dr.Quinzel, and smiled. "Doc? Would you like to join me?" he then looked over to Nurse Crawford, "And you? Please? I just need two players! C'mon, please? It would make a sad clown happy..." he begged, being oddly charming. He fanned the cards out, then smiled as cutely as he could when Harley sat down.

"Alright, I'll play just a game or so," she told him, tucking a strand of blonde hair out of her face and behind her ear. "Come now Nurse, he won't hurt you, isn't that right Mr.Joker?" Harley asked, looking to Joker. He nodded happily and started to deal cards. Harley then looked to Nurse Crawford, offering a chair.

"A little break won't hurt, right? And besides, everyone in here seems to be pretty calmed down," she explained, trying to calm the nerves of the obviously frightened and skiddish nurse.

"He has a dream of a world where everyone is always laughin'... So maybe I'm crazy, but aren't we all a little crazy...in love?"

As the words 'calmed down' exit the doctor's mouth, violent sounds of banging and crashing, and incoherent yelling can be heard coming down the hall as two guards struggle to drag rather angry Jak into the rec room.

"You incompetent fools! Let go of me, do you know who I AM?! Do you known how many BUILDINGS I've turned to rubble?! Let go of me!"

The rec room door opens as the guards literally throw Jak into the room, and slam the door shut walking away, mumbling to themselves."The wack jobs they send us these days. . ."

Jak hits the cold floor with a loud thud. He struggles to push himself up into a sitting position against the wall, as he looks around at the group."I wouldn't be here if I had my child. . ." He says, stroking his maimed ring finger, where the orange lantern ring once rested.

This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — 'No, you move.' "

Daniella, still eyeing Crane a little, sat down at the table and watched them play cards. It was interesting how, given all the things she had heard about the joker, and the fact that one of his schemes had killed her brother, that he was being so... normal.
When the commotion started Daniella leapt up and ran to the newcomer. "Stop being so rough," she ordered the guards, her nursing training kicking in and making her bolder. "You will hurt them and that is not what they are here for."
She turned to the new inmate. "I am so sorry. I am just going to check you for injuries," she began feeling his arms. "Do you have any pain anywhere?" She saw his finger and took his hand gently, examining the finger. "I will get a bandage and some pain medicine for that," she assured him.

Another nurse soon entered the room carrying a tray containing an old ceramic tea set, including a teapot, teacup and saucer. Watching the tray with a mad look in his eye, the Mad Hatter sprang forward as soon as it was place in front of him. Grabbing his cup, he began to pour himself some of the lovely brew, eyeing his surroundings as he did so. With a smile a large as his hat, he drank. he tea relaxed him slightly. He became more calm. Less homicidal. It was odd. No doubt the ol' doctors were drugging him. Besides, it hadn't been Tetch's initial request for a pot of tea everyday. He didn't have to be a brain surgeon to know he was currently being watched by them. They were testing him. Seeing how he would react to the medicine.

Jervis saw right through their plan. Lowering his saucer, he smiled once more and leapt onto his seat. "Swap places!" He cried loudly, quickly running along the table towards the opposite end, keeping a firm grip on his saucer. Avoiding the playing cards with his feet, Jervis arrived at the Joker's seat. The man was legend, though Tetch knew the clown wouldn't do something in here. Taking a seat on the other side of Doctor Quinzel, he beamed at her before looking around frantically, snapping his fingers. The nurse reacted instantly, bring his tray over to his new seat, before leaving with a pissed off look on her face.

Pour himself some more of the brew, he looked around at his new seatmates. "Would any of you like some tea?" He asked politely, tapping his finger against the teapot.

Jak looked up at the nurse sideways, a bit confused."Uhh. . .Y- yeah, pain medicine would be just dandy, deary." He says, grinning devilishly up at her, having regained his composure. Greed in his eyes, he examines his fellow inmates and the employees in the rec room with glee.'Oh, some many minds to corrupt. So much greed to be spread.' He thinks to himself with much villainous excitement as he begins to scheme.

"Oh, yes miss. . .It hurts here." He says a bit too innocently for the gruff look about him, and the rough attitude he had given the guards that dragged him into the rec room only moments ago.

He turns his head to see the Joker at a table, smiling widely."Ah, Mr.Joker! I have heard much about you, and your accomplishments! I look forward to spending the rest of my life with the likes of you, locked away in this dreadfully damp place!"

Daniella gave a small smile. She tried to be happy and polite to the inmates as much as she could. Going to the wall she took the phone and called in for some pain meds.
Going back to the man, she pulled antiseptic spray and a bandage from her coat and applied it to the man's finger.
"There. And your pain medicine should be here in a few minutes. Let me know if there is anything else I can do."
Daniella walked back to Dr. Quinzel, once again giving Crane a wide berth. She felt safer next to the doctor. Maybe because she always seemed to be in control. Nothing fazed her or frightened her. Not even Joker.
Now the man, Tetch she believed, sat beside Dr. Quinzel. She took the seat opposite the doctor, wishing she could sit next to her. Unforunately this put her in full veiw of Crane.
    God the man frightened her.
And it wasn't just that. The whole room felt off to her, like something was waiting to happen...
She tried to shake off the feeling and instead addressed Tetch. "Would you like anything else with your tea? I'm sure I could get you some sugar cookies from the kitchen if you wanted."

At the request of being offered sugar cookies by one of the other nurses, the Mad Hatter shook his head. "No thank you madam, I'll be fine with my brew." He spoke in a small and innocent sounding voice, before taking another sip from his saucer. Glancing up he watched his fellow inmates. It was clear who was who in this place. First there were the gangs. They dotted about the room, talking in hushed voices. All looked violent. Not many disturbed on mad. In the corner stood Dr Crane. The scarecrow as the loon called himself. The thought made Jervis smile.

Finishing his tea, his eyes simply stared down at the empty cup. His smile wavered. With one fast moment, he smashed the teacup against the table, the china going everywhere. As a guard rushed over to see what had happened, Jervis just beamed. "Cup" He said proudly, holding the remains of the handle in his hand. His expression was coated with proudness.

The Hatter smirked as the guard began to clear up the newly made mess, before turning to stare around the room, presenting his cup handle to onlookers, an even prouder look on his face than before. "Cup." He repeated smiling.

Zel had only nodded to the nurse, still believing she didn't belong in a room like this, at least by herself. He eventually found himself sitting on a windowsill, flicking the deck of guards, watching them fly everywhere. He was at his last two when he stopped and began sliding the card in between the window. Not in attempt to open it, knowing it wouldn't open that easily.

The event of Bane damaging a table made him laugh. It was like watching a large bear trying to break free of the handcuffs, not caring anything about what the guards would say. Then it hit him. Bane had been gone about a week or more- Eh, he must've been in that hole that I heard about so many times. Zel looked out the window, at the bad weather. No wonder they couldn't go outside. His thoughts were soon interrupted by a guard angrily speaking with him about the mess he made with the cards, and how he disturbed the other inmates. "They'll be fine. It's not like these cards could kill anyone." Zel smirked and made no move to pick the rest of them up.

    Thank you Lillian!
