Wisp merely opened his eyes fully, looking at the strange man in wonder. Sitting up straighter, he tried to move his arm into a more comfortable position, but ended up making it hurt more. Ignoring it and sending the pain away, he looked at the girl and the rat-like man.

''Couldn't we...get out through the tunnels? Also, fixing my arm will be an unnecessary risk. You could get caught, depending on the amount of time it'll take. Pain is just an emotion, and shouldn't be dwelled upon.'' he said emotionlessly.

He looked to them both, they both thought he was one of the torturers, he was offended. His eyes were crossed and he was angry now "Preposterous! I am not one of the people who done this to you! I started off as one of them but i" he looked at his hands, he wasn't angry anymore "i-it's n-not imp-important, we can-cannot escape thr-through the tunnels t-they ha-have t-them lock-locked down a-after i helped another esca-escape" he explained. "W-we can p-plan an escape b-but you b-both n-need to be r-ready and that means being at fu-full h-health."

Cassie turned back to the boy with the messed up arm and shook her head.
"On my way in, I examined the lab. There is only one way out. That is through a heavily guarded mine shaft entrance." She shifted her weight uncomfortably from one side to another, returning her stare to the man dressed in the lab coat.
"And even if we make it past that, the perimeter around us is crawling with officers."
A whistle echoed through the door as the sound of someone fumbling with keys to unlock the door filled the room. Cassie glared at the rat man.
"If you are really hear to help us, it might be wise for you to hide before he opens that door."

The Ratman nodded then frantically ran around in a circle getting lower and lower each time until he was crawling frantically on hands and feet like a rat. He hopped onto the wall and jumped off of it into the vent. He grabbed the grate and pulled it back into place. He then sat and watched the two and the door waiting in case anything happened.

Cassie returned to her sitting position next to the boy just as the guard opened the door. She looked up and saw that the rat man was watching from the ceiling.
"Sitting tight I see." The officer said as he stepped into the room. He looked down at Cassie and raised a brow at her.
"Well well, your nose wasn't stitched up when I left. How'd that happen." He stepped closer to take a better look.
Cassie gripped the sewing needle in her fist as he got near.
"Oh, I had a bit of help." She said, smirking as she jammed the needle into the mans leg. He cursed at her and grabbed her by the hair, lifting her to her feet
She scratched at his face as she tried to wiggle free.
"You little piece of.." He finished his sentence with a groan as he lifted her off the ground and threw her into the wall. She let out a yelp and sunk back down onto the floor, blood spewing out of the back of her head.

[Whispers]

Wisp, who was acting like he was in a daze, calmly looked up, his hair shadowing his eyes.

''You foolish brute. Hitting a girl as if she was a man. For shame.'' he said coldly, standing up. Stretching his back casually, he lashed out with a nimble, graceful two-finger poke, aiming at the man's neck. The action was so swift and un-expected, the guard had nothing to do but to back away, coughing up blood and spit.

Ratman watched the events unfold. He couldn't determine if these two were his friends yet but he thought the best thing to make them his friends was to kill the guard. He leaped out of the vent like a leopard and viciously attacked the guard he jumped on him and bit his jugular vein off. The guard grabbed his own neck as the Ratman hopped off, his mouth covered in the guards blood. Soon the room was painting a new shade of rouge.

Cassie watched between her eyelids as the two killed the guard. She tried to lift her head, to tell them to stop but she felt the warm wetness in the back of her head. She sighed as everything went fuzzy, then black and she layed her head back down onto the floor.

[Whispers]

Wisp didn't flinch as the ratman killed the guard, brutally gouging out the jugular. He had disabled it's flow momentarily, so the guard would have been stunned for a while. Eh, they deserve to be killed like the animals that they were. Hearing a groan, he looked to his left, already knowing that Cassie was there.

''Hmmm...your head.'' he mulled, walking over to her calmly. Lifting her up, he ignored the blood coating his hands as he took a long strap of bandages, wrapping it around her head tightly. Picking her up with his one good arm, he dragged her away from the mess of blood and laid her head down, supporting it with a small amount of the left over bandages.

'My arm will be okay.' he thought carelessly, sitting down beside her.

''Ratman, they will get suspicious. Hide the body.''

"W-where e-exactly d-do y-you propose i h-hide it a-and h-how d-do y-you know my name?" He asked he cleaned the blood off of his mouth with his sleeve and took the cube off of his back. He then crushed the guards skull making it easier to dispose of the body. He put the cube back on his back and waited for his response.
