    I'm worried

So my dad just called me and told me that my older brothers girlfriend has to go to the emergency room because the stitches from her C-setion are starting to open up. Can anybody tell me if this is life threatening or not? D: I'm kind of freaking out right now

Most likely not, but they will check for infection and close the would once again. She needs to take it easy and not strain herself and take good care of her sutures to make sure that they don't get infected.

I'd imagine that it is pretty scary, but these things happen.

Yeah, shit happened to me when I was 12.

The re-opening of stitches, not the cesarean....damn kids!

anyways, had appendicitis, it ruptured at the hospital, woke up and a few days later it was trying to open again. Wasn't comfortable, but not life threatening. It's just a big opening for any sort of contaminant to get in through, which is why it is a concern to get it closed again asap.
