So as most of you can see in this RP we have a level system, For awhile now we have just been training occasionally and waiting for the right time to fairly level up but during all this I have been trying to work out a fair levelling system that does not require me to tell people when they can level up and that's why this is being made. I have explained how to get from level 1 to 2 and as you saw it required you to learn most skills in one or more categories (Hakuda, Zanjutsu, Kido etc.) I did say you could follow one path and this is the fastest way to level up but it has it's disadvantages. I will explain this later. This little section will explain how to go from level 2 to 3 and so on. Also a note here, you must communicate with your zanpakuto spirit to level up the skills and zanpakuto learning go hand in hand for levelling you up, you can't do it on one alone unless in a VERY rare case
To get from level 2 to 3
So first we will look at the fast path to level up (Note: Kido is an example. this can be done with any single category)
Fast Path
So you have just got to level 2 and want to know how to get to level 3 using one path and in this case kido is the example. To level up you will need to learn most of the required skills for the category so this is like 75% of the 100% of skills for that level here is an example
Kido you can learn in level 2:
Hado: 36, 54, 58, Kongōbaku, Gaki Rekkō
Bakudo: 21, 26, 30
As you can see there are 8 Kido's in total here so to level up you would need to learn 6 of the 8 kido's here this could be much like this
Kido's learned:
Hado: 36, 54, 58
Bakudo: 21, 26, 30
If you had learned these 6 or any 6 kido's for that matter you could level up to level 3 but of course going to the next level means you have to communicate with your Zanpakuto spirit and gain some skills from it's shikai. Now the consequence of taking the fast path
Consequence of the fast path
If you have taken the fast path to get to a high level and have learned only one or two categories of skills then the days for skills of a different category take twice as long to learn due to your character not being good in those areas, but you may not even need other skills due to your proficiency in one area.
Simpler diagrams explaining the fast path of levelling up.
Use your head for things such as learning kido and Zanjutsu...learn 75% of the kido for that level and follow what the Zanjutsu chart says. Simple...same applies to any duo
The longer path (no consequence)
So yes this path does take longer and levelling up also takes longer but there are no consequences to this. I will now go into detail about all this, it should be easy to understand. Here I will use getting from level 2 to 3 as the example
So here are the level 3 skills (all of them)
Kido's:
Hado: 36, 54, 58, Kongōbaku, Gaki Rekkō
Bakudo: 21, 26, 30
Zanjutsu:
Senmaioroshi
Suikawari
Hakuda:
Kazaguruma
Panchira Torunēdo
So these are all the skills level 2's can learn. In total there are 12 so to level up to the next level you would have needed to learn 9 of the 12 stated above. Now levelling up the long way requires you to learn at least one from each category so you could learn let's say 7 of the kido's, 1 of the Zanjutsu skills and 1 of the Hakuda skills this meets the 75% mark for the levelling up and of course eliminates the consequence of having training days doubled. So all in all it is longer but more rewarding, I will post below the total skills for each level and the amount you need to learn but bare in mind you MUST learn at least one from each category for there to be no consequences in the future. If you are confused send me a PM and I will try explain it better
Level 1 skills total count:
Total: 19
Skills needed to pass to next level: 14-15
Level 2 skills total count:
Total: 12
Skills needed to pass to next level: 9
Level 3 skills total count:
Total: 9
Skills needed to pass to next level: 6-7
(there is no Zanjutsu for this level BUT if you have learn ALL previous Zanjutsu skills you may learn the next even if it's a level ahead of your current level)
Level 4 skills total count:
Total: 12
Skills needed to pass to next level: 9
Level 5 skills total count:
Total: 6
Skills needed to pass to next level: 4-5
This is all the totals for the long path. The quick path is simple enough and doesn't really require me to explain further.
(NOTE: Remember in conjunction with this you must learn about your zanpakuto also)
