Gladdius quickly runs to his ship looking to see if anyone was watching and not seeing any Gladdius went on to grab his sniper rifle, While he was on he went to the cock pit and activated a remote sensor that would allow him to remotely activate the autopilot and have it fly to a destination. Knowing that his transport would never ot run any fighters he then set the self-destruct on it to go off when one of two events should happen, He knew that the drums of explosive material that was in the cargo bay would be enough to destroy two ships that were following it. After he did the preparation and set a call out to the home planet explaining what had happen and 'That he was on his way back with the cube in tow.' knowing the message would be intercepted, he got off and met up with the others at the merchant ship.

At first glance you would have thought that all Gladdius knew how to use was the sword and maybe just maybe a pistol... But it was laughable that he had a sniper rifle.
