Alright, because I noticed interest has spiked recently. I'm going to answer some questions that may occur, like "Hey Chris- Who or what are the Paragons?" But you also may go "That is the main guild right?" Yes, the main guild of the heroic people. Paragons do not really require law to do what they need to do. "So basically ruffians?" Yes, and no. You can appear as one, mostly because the guild is one of secrecy, thus appearances are various of the members. The Paragons are of several goals though. "To help others right?" A Paragon is normally a rational thinker, and for the good and benefit of all. Which also brings me to this- there can be an alternate guild. "The Renegades". I know what your thinking "He is pulling a Mass Effect on us!" Sorta. Renegades are mostly all for them self and exclusively their friends and or company. Most of the times they are seen as selfish or irrational. They could care less for secrecy and just want the job done.
"But what of the Empire?" Well... Obviously they are being used by the heads of the monarchy, they are the real bad guys. As a Paragon we want to avoid that. As a Renegade ? "Fuck that shit!" And go guns a blazing.
Your character and guild are basically determined by your choices and approach on things. You could switch mid-way through to other team if a reason is given. Basically Does not mean good or bad?
