I'm sure it's possible to get rid of the 'Dick Act'.
It can't be repealed, the congress made it that way to basically protect the constitution from well...congress.

Sure it can, no one said anything about Congress getting rid of it via honest means, they've tried to pass dishonest laws before, and I'm sure they'll try it again(SOPA for example)

Oh, they'll try and ignore it I'm sure, and they'll pass some sweeping gun control legislation. It just won't be legal. This is also the same act (I believe) that made it illegal for the President to send the National Guard out of the US...

in fact, Vermont has an interesting idea....

They would require non gun owners to pay a $500 fine.

Most uses of Firearms to intentionally kill a person in the US are illegally obtained, if you support gun control and you are my neighbor, then you can be rest assured that I wont bother using MY guns to defend YOUR household, because, after all, guns kill people, and they should be banned.

Another note about that last sentence as well:

Penises rape people, so I guess with gun control supporting people's mindsets about guns, they should be banned as well

Here's what it comes down to most gun violence is gang and drug related. Most of the firearms used increase situations are not legal anyways. So putting more restrictions on firearms does next to nothing

And the other 40% are suicides or instances of just plain too dumb to live.

Seriously... taking a loaded revolver and playing russian-roullette during break on a movie set... seriously?!

Also: why I'm personally in disfavor of carrying in waistband: Let alone advocating it.
