Forces beyond control (Godzilla RP)
It had been over 68 years since the atom bomb went off at Hiroshima and mankind has been advancing steadily encroaching on new territories, expanding it horizons, and encroaching on frontiers that should have been left undisturbed. The first signs of this came in the form of a force nature that world would be known as Godzilla. A monster the size of a skyscraper, whose very footsteps polluted and left the earth contaminated in his wake. It was only thanks to a reclusive scientist that the creature was destroyed. The Earth and her people took a sigh of relief that day, thinking that the nightmare was over.... It was not.
For the human race it was these creatures that plagued them time and time again, and with every passing decade new monsters came from nowhere challenging the supremacy of homo sapiens. Humanity answered with its metal and sciences to take down the monsters, yet with each victory they were pushed back more and more. The monuments of human race fell one by one like a wave crashing on rocks of the shoreline. When they were cornered humanity looked to the stars as an escape. Orbital space stations and lunar colonies have helped humanity to survive but they saw their home Earth permanently changed. It was no longer a peaceful blue ball but a wasteland of creatures that vied for power against each other now. No longer possessing the manpower to combat these creature humanity has turned to a different solution and a team has been sent to what was Tokyo Bay to acquire a key component to the plan Humanity's leaders call: Plan V-G.

"Check the sensors again I don't what any terror birds to swoop in and kill us." Said Desmond Riker as he was piloting the aircraft down to surface of the earth. It had been his 30th drop to the surface but it still didn't put his mind at ease anything could go wrong on entry onto the planet's surface whether it be a small hull breach or worse a monster thinking this ship was a mid-morning snack. "All right everyone we are going through the upper atmosphere right now it may get a little bumpy." He said over the intercom the hull of ship began to glow red hot when they going through Thermosphere-mesosphere transition. Riker was trying to keep himself calm as he performed these delicate maneuvers.
Within a few minutes the aircraft finally reached its destination right outside Tokyo Bay and prepared for its descent. "Alright everyone we are going to be on the ground for no more 2 hours any longer and we risk being detected by buggers or something larger. Alright sound off. Science team?"
