I've been looking around for a good RP to sink my teeth into but I just can't seem to find one I like. At the moment I guess I would like either a high fantasy magic based RP, or a futuristic Fallout meets Killzone esq idea.

If anyone is interested in either (And your competant) just say and maybe we could build something around it.

The problems I'm facing are the Storylines around aren't really...I don't know the word, there is always something missing. And they are never linear. A sandbox is great fun with the right people but with it so hard to find those people RP's die in a month or so because everyone gets bored with nothing to do. So warning if someone does want to make an RP, i will want a clearly defined end, a goal to reach. Otherwise we are stuck doing nothing...

Also they all seem to be wayyy to big. I mean having lots of players is good, but it also (At the current status of RPG) means many will drop eventually leading to the RP downfall. I think 4 is a perfect number. 5 at a push if they are all dedicated. But I just want something long lasting because as soon as I see the same signs I just drop it as well and I don't like that I've started to do that.

Also if anyone is looking for someone to join their RP because they need another player give me a bell, I'll see what I think and maybe I'll find that RP I'm after.

I've been playing zyhmos (its in my sig) and it might sate your needs? Its fantasy and the players are all keen to avoid exactly what you are mentioning.

ill be willing to create one, i have always been a fan of magic and fantasy, maybe with a dash of sci-fi? i.e a space shuttle(of whatever race) crashes into a strange planet of which the ordinary laws of life do not apply,the creatures do not know death (as what ever race does) they are able to bend the world at a instant ( i was thinking either being a member of a native species or being a member of the shuttles species,however i would like to be a rather short native species living in the jungles of the world,its short(3 ft tall) and has 4 small insect like wings which allow it to hover/fly up to 3 ft high,i would come up with a "pronounceable" name as it goes,i believe that the goal would be to repair the shuttle and get the survivors to their home planet using the native help(to defend against hostile natives as well) and the resources found on the planet,however the magic im talking about is not very powerful unless by a tribal prime arch,theirs is very powerful, commoners can only use light magic
