Alex turns towards Lady Rosewoode. "What do you think of this all happening to me.. Is what he says true? Can I suppress the hunger I am going to get by using void magic.. If this is true should I go with them or do you think I am better off with you and the others... Am I a danger to everyone else?" She turns and sees Axels reaction and begins to question it as well. "Actually I am going to stick with my original decision. In time I may transfer but I think I should stay with everyone else.."

"i may not agree with the path you've chosen..but i respect that you chose based on what you believe best. i only ask that you remember that my doors are always open. with that, i bid you farewell." charles said. he kept his outer demeanor calm. thought inside, he was worried. he wondered about the fate of his university..for if there was no one to teach..then all the knowledge he'd fought to restore would be lost again. in his mind, the worst thing that could happen was for knowledge to become lost..

Henry observed as every single one of the Caldwell students rejected the offer to study at Voidbound. He addressed Charles.

"I told you I suspected someone else to be behind the portal issue. Think about it... who stands the most to gain by severing our ability to gain students? The type of students who desire power, with the temperament and will to control it... do you not think they might go to Demonspawn instead?"

Demonspawn The academy in the mountains north of Caldwell, where witches and warlocks were trained to summon and control demons and other infernal magics. There was a fine line between a necromancer and a warlock, and potential necromancers might easily find themselves at Demonspawn should the gates to Voidbound be closed.

Unfortunately, Demonspawn was also a very powerful academy... much moreso than Caldwell. Charles would not be able to push his weight around so easily, not there. Henry calculated that Charles had already realized this fact, but had opted instead to attempt the easy route by trying to recruit from Caldwell. It wasn't working, however.

He addressed Rosewoode, "Lady Vampire... before you leave. It is my understanding that your school is known to offer elective classes in swordplay. As a show of good faith, and as compensation for this incident between our schools, I am willing to offer my assistance in teaching your students basic swordplay, should they desire it. On the condition that I not be asked to use or train void magic and spellbladery, just swordplay." He could think of no better way to build up the physical and mental discipline for magic use than through sword training, after all, and it was his understanding that Rosewoode had built up her own discipline in much the same way, when she was young.

charles frowned at this "demonreach! if those devil summoning fools are indeed behind this..then i'll show them the true power of the void." charles snarled. he despised demonreach and the warlocks it bred. at least void magic stayed within the binds of nature. in fact it was necessary to keep it's flow of energy balanced. but the demonic magic of the warlocks? it served no such higher purpose. it existed only to spit in the face of the world's laws. "and to you lady rosenwoode...i'd suggest keeping your guard up. not all of the schools are as willing to be civil as i am..and i offer this much, only out of respect for my time under your tutelage." he said. it wasn't a threat, but rather a warning. for whatever reason..charles wished to ensure the survival of caldwells. whether it was out of nostalgia from his time within it's walls, or because of his brother's presence there...he wished it to survive. "brother...wait." johnson called out to charles. "i don't claim to know who caused your problems..but know that if you, or gavin need help..that i will give it. we follow differing paths, but we are still family." he said resolutely. gavin smiled from his hiding place, and if one were to look on charles face as he walked away, they'd seem a truly warm smile on it.

At the mention of the obviously experienced swordsman possibly teaching students from Caldwell, Zael stepped up. "I'd definitely like to learn. I've always liked sparring with swords back on Earth, and I have a lot of experience fighting in tournaments. I guess it might be a bit different if people were actually trying to kill me with them though." Turning back to Lady Rosewood, he continued "You have given me so much... A lot of the other people here would like to go back... But for me, this is a whole new life. There wasn't a lot going for me back there, but here there's so much possibility. I wonder if maybe Caldwell and Voidbound academy could have some joint classes, like the swordplay class, in neutral territories. You both would get what you want: teaching students the art of magic. Granted, each school would teach its specialty only to its students, but overall, more could be done if we did cooperative classes. I just wanted to throw out the idea for both heads to consider. I know I probably shouldn't be talking so bluntly about it, but I wanted to say this while we were all gathered. To be honest, I don't see why this could not work."

Sakura tried her hardest not say anything. She disliked it when people decided against a better education for a rather illogical reason. All this was that to her. People making excuse so they would not learn. However, one person in particular really got on her nerves. A boy with black and red hair. "One should not say such things to their elders, dog. I suggest you hold your tongue next time or I will hold it for you. He just said that it is possible to reach that Zoo we call Earth through the power of void magic. Even if he has no concern for you, what gain does he have from harming you? Now I ask you this. Would you rather be with someone who cares for you as a student, or would you rather be at home with one who cares for you as a son? Your mother is back on Earth. I wish to stay, for my goal is knowledge of all. You only wish for knowledge on how to return home. As Head Master Darkly has said before, that knowledge is here. Though the choice is obvious, it is still yours to make."

She turned to Alex. "And as for you vampire. How do you know these people will not forsake you for your recent change. They may stay with you for as long as they feel safe, however, they are bound to fear you eventually." She eyed the cat girl. "They are animals after all. And animals will run, hide, or attack when threatened. If you wish to cure yourself, you must study what first made you that way. Docter's do not experiment with medicine until they study what they are fighting first. You are amazingly gifted at shadow magic from what I have heard. With your already immense understating of it, you may learn what caused this transformation in the first place. I implore you to reconsider." Her tone through her speeches was far from friendly, but was not angry in any way.

Axel just scoffed at what this girl was saying, "And you're saying you can so easily trust this man? With the obviously ominous name and the scary sounding place he comes from? Who teaches magic that clearly off the cuff sounds like bad news? I would call you an idiot for so easily trusting that fast, but it'd be an insult to idiots to world over." There was seriously something about the man from Voidbound that he did not like and he was not afraid to speak his mind about it.

Alex looks at the girl. "If they forsake me then I would come to your academy so there. Although I kind of know thinking about it I do believe I am a pureblood vampire it would explain my family's odd tendencies as well as alot of other things." Alex tries to smile but on the inside she is still shook up and confused.

"His name is Hiroto," Tsukiko answered to Allison. Then Lady Rosewoode teleported in front of them, making Tsukiko jump.

She was nervous and stayed silent while the others talked. But she listened carefully. And she had been right - she didn't like Voidbound at all. She wouldn't be transferring now and she was sure she never would.

Not even if Darkly could teach them how to create portals and go back home. Besides, Axel had a point. Tsukiko wasn't good at reading people so she had no idea if Darkly was lying or not, but if the others weren't trusting him... neither would Tsukiko.

The girl who spoke to Axel and Alex intimidated Tsukiko to no end.

"Let's not fight," she said quietly. Then she turned to Rosewoode. "I'm definitely staying with you."

Did he just say ’energy of death and negativity?’ At least what void magic is was explained and Allison didn’t really have any other question. Didn’t change the fact that the idea of what they do here scares her. She now had no idea what to think of them. If they’re evil. Or if they just practice something different that Allison found rather scary. Then heard Axel’s reaction to all of this. What he said did make sense. He does have a point.
