I had percocets. Perky perks I called them. I've been on a few different ones for my back. Vics. Percs. Methocarbanol. Tylonal 3 with codeine.
To be honest, what helps most is chiro visits, stretching and motrin.

I take motrin almost daily, but generally one pill.
For muscle relaxers, I RARELY take them. I hate them. But sometimes I do...not NEED them I guess, but it definitely helps.
And yeah, I've been doing a LOT more herbal/natural and non-traditional stuff in place of going to doctors, along with going to the chiropractor which helps a LOT.
I'd be a fucking disaster if I ceased going to the chiro.
