The dead shades of the night (Hekazu and RyuChi) [OOC]

Name: Albert Gyver, but he is better known as Shadowslayer Å (The shadowslayers use single letter working names, Å is the one Albert received, but if needed it can be changed before we start)

Age: 34

Personality: Å is the listener type, who opens their mouth only when he knows he won't interrupt anyone. But when he speaks, he isn't a man of only a couple of words, he enjoys telling stories and sharing his experiences, and that helps him cope with the dangers he encounters. In both battle and everyday life, Å is careful and patient, and this is best seen in his fighting style: He only strikes when a hit is guaranteed, or sure enough considering the risks.

Appearance: Writers note: This section will be short, as his clothing is better described in equipment section. Å is a muscular person, which is a must in his trade, and for practical reasons does not have a beard or a mustache. He also is about 176cm long, and has green eyes and short dark brown hair. His nose is slightly shorter and smaller than one of an average human, and his chin is pointy.(Not the most logical order of telling things, I am terrible at describing appearances. And I'm not even sure if "pointy chin" means what I have in mind)

Equipment: First of all, Å has three sets of equipment, polar, ordinary and fancy. Polar set is used in polar regions, but most of the differences are in the clothing and its cold resistance. Ordinary set is the one that sees the most use and gets the greatest description, and fancy which he uses at parties (which he mainly attends due to his work)

Ordinary set: I'll first describe the armoured clothing. Shadowslayers' uniforms are dark grey (dark grey=only a shade of white added to black) with brown leather pads attached to them in some points. The fabric used in the armour itself is sturdier than it looks like, and the leather pads serve more as a decoration. The torso part of the armour set is a jacket placed on a sleeveless special fabric armour with chainmail under it. The jacket provides lots of storage space, and is attached to the lower piece so it won't fly off so easily and as an extra, Å has a silver cross attached to his right sleeve.
In the jackets left inner pocket Å keeps a mechanical silver-plated pocket watch (he makes sure it is always on time) and in the two other pockets of the left side there is a bag of salt, and a bottle of holy water. The four right side inner pockets house a bible, bottle of crushed garlic (replaced every time he visits the headquarters), a special dagger called "critter" and an odd mix of herbs that should repel most of the insects.
His legs are protected by a little loose special fabric pants with chainmail between the two fabric layers, and his feet are protected by safety shoes (their equivalent of this timeline of course).
The shadowslayer hat is a long brimmed hat with a little protection for the skull in the center.
On the outside of the jacket, Å keeps his main weapons, shortbow, silver lined steel broadsword, and an "autoblade", an extremely rare weapon which is basically a blade without a sharp edge, which has been replaced by a sawblade that moves with the power it gains from the salvaged golem eye which is embedded in the weapons guard. Useful against enemies that do not require silver.
Then there is his bow. It is nothing out of ordinary, but his arrows are special: Their shafts are made out of undead trees, they are flighted with 4 cockatrice feathers each, and their tip is special shaped blessed silver arrowtip with a gold trim. They should be able to damage any supernatural creature, and have worked so far.

Polar set: See above, the armour just is white in colour, and leather pads light gray.

Fancy set: Includes a black suit (trousers are of course a part of it), a vest, boots and a cane with an iron raven as the handle. The cane houses a silver shortsword, and the vest has the same deal of pockets as the usual working jacket. And I think I do not need to mention the fact the suit is made out of this special fabric.

Biography: Alberts childhood is nothing out of the ordinary. He grew up as a son of a merchant, and his father of course would have wanted Albert to stay in the trade. But this was not what Albert had in mind, he wanted a job with challenge and dangers! That is how he decided to join a group of shadelings, people who deal with small demons without any special training, relying on the power in numbers. But even that was not enough. Albert moved on to a group of more dedicated demon hunters, and was the only one of his team to survive against a "Wendigo", known as the cold stalker of the woods (Wendigos happen to be from actual floklore of native americans). This was what attracted the attention of the shadowslayers' order, and netted him a place in the group. The harsh initiation tests did cost the lives of some other applicants, but Albert was lucky to never have been the first to enter a challenge, and he could learn from others, whether it was heard from a surviving person, or by following the conversation of the shadowslayers who kept yhose tests when the applicant hadn't made it. Albert nearly lost his life in "The chamber of flames", but he managed to avoid meeting his maker, and attained the title and name of shadowslayer Å.

I noticed we had not chosen a name, so I picked one myself. I do believe we can change it if you want to, though. And as another note, I will RP much closer to my character than how I did in the introductory post. It just worked better with a more distant approach. I think you understand what I mean.

Name: Maye Blackthorn

Age: 21 (newly turned)

Personality: Maye is unusual to say the least, your visions of vampires might leave you with seductive temptresses but Maye is fat from your everyday vampire. She is quiet and conserved when it comes to large parties but not so that she is socially awkward, just a listener. She is quiet shy and her past left her afraid of men and so she only feeds off women. She has a cruel side though, almost a split personality that takes over when the smell of blood comes into range. It kidnaps the women and drains them of blood brutally, leaving the real Maye without having to dirty her hands to be fed.

Appearance: As a human Maye was a short girl with no real figure, Bland hair, a boring face and slightly tanned skin. When she was turned she completely transformed into a petite girl with perfect curves and ivory coloured skin. She has an oval shaped face with large deep blue eyes, thick lashes, high cheekbones and full lips. Her hair though was affected in the turn and is now luminous white, which she lets fall in waves down to her waist. She is the type of beauty that is cold and rather awed from afar without ever speaking. Maye does not really enjoy her beauty and finds it hard to live with, almost uncomfortable, she wished she were rather normal and that she could live under the radar forever.

Equipment: Maye does not wear any armour but rather a black dress that falls to the floor with detailed lace patterning and wide sleeves. She also wear a black mesh/lace thing (cannot remember what they are called) over her eyes and always has a black fan with her.
She in certain occasions will wear black leather leggings with knee high boots along with a white shirt if she needs to travel and such but it is very scandalous for women to wear pants back then although she finds it more comfortable.
She is very skilled in hand to hand combat and with daggers and throwing knives, her upbringing lead her to having to fend for herself no matter what.

Biography: Maye was brought up living on the streets were every day could be your last, she had no family and got by with begging on street corners for food or money. One winter when the snow was coming down harder than usual a man offered her to come and sit with him in his carriage and get warm. That was a bad idea, he soon after tried to rape her in which she got away by kicking him in a rather sensitive spot. She had fled but he had managed to slice her cheek with his knife. She finally tripped, exhausted in an alley when a beautiful woman appeared before her, offering her an easy life with everlasting beauty and youth. She gladly accepted and thus she became a vampire. The woman taught her the basics but then left without a trace.

It seems I forgot to include money in Å's belongings. I take it you won't kill me if he suddenly finds a small pouch of money next to the insect repelling herbs? He won't have a fortune there, but enough to live with for a while.

Then, I guess your post ends near morning, and mine was late evening. It'll be OK if I write all the things Å did during daytime in my next post, right? I would guess vampires wake up at sunset, so I'd end the post there. This will do, won't it?
