He didn't even have time to open the door for her, or even say goodbye.
Jesse opened his door and stepped out, walking to her porch.
He rang the doorbell; but it didn't work...so he knocked on the door, as he thought of what he was gonna say.
Lucy had just gotten in the door, when her doorbell rang. Takign her time to get her shoes off and her jacket, she hears an impatient knock. " I'm coming, I'm coming." she calls to the door, a little annoyed. She hadn't heard Jesse's car leave, so she knew it was him. Reluctantly opening the door, she leans against the frame. " What?"

Jesse took Lucy by the hand and pulled her into a long passionate kiss.((daydream))
Jesse looked at Lucy, "Hey..look, I'm sorry alright...my mother is trying to set me up with this snobby society rich bitch."
"I don't wanna even go, but I have to..so, will you be my date?" he asked.
Well that wasn't what she expected. " Fakely? Or actually?" she asks. " Either way, I have to change. So come in." she lets the door go wider for him and then steps fromt he door way. " I'll be right down." she says, jogging up the steps. Racing to her closet she pull sout something presentable, throws it on, and changes her hair. She was done in atleast fifteen mintues. Walking back down the steps, she smiles. " Okay, okay. Lets go."

"Um..wow, I didn't expect you to agree." smiled Jesse as he opened the door for her.
"Not fakely, I mean..that is, if you want it to be a real date..I wouldn't mind that." he said as he closed the door behind them.
Jesse opened the car door for Lucy, "So..does this mean we are dating?"
Lucy looked at him as he opened the door and thoguht a second. " I dunno... are we?" she says, walking down the pathway back to his car. She seemed to walk a bit mroe confident, she always felt that way in heels. " So what do I need to knwo about this snobby girl? & Why is your Mum setting you up with her?"

"She's a classy broad in her mind, but really she is daddy's little spoiled princess." replied Jesse as he closed her door.
He walked over to the driver side and got in, closing the door "I cant stand to be around her."
"And she is my ex girlfriend." mumbled Jesse as he started up the car.
" And she's your ex?!?!" Lucy turns to him. " Fuck. I'm gonna be such a dissapointment..." she whispers.
It was obvious the mother liked her if she was trying to get them back together.
And so Lucy fell once more into her silence.

"You haven't disappointed me yet." said Jesse as he reached over and squeezed her hand.
"If my mother get's out of hand, don't be afraid to put her in her place." he laughed.
Jesse looked over at Lucy and smiled, leaning over the console; he kissed her cheek "Have I told you how amazing you look?"
