Sophia didn't quite know what woke her up, but her eyes flew open. she looked over to her Alarm clock to see it was only 5:13 in the morning. With an irritated groan, she rolled onto her stomach and attempted to fall back asleep, but no such luck. she was probably too nervous she thought to herself, today was the big day. It was only three weeks ago that Sophia was asked to lead the Resistance after Joseph's death, and today the resistance agreed to meet up for the first time since Joseph's death, under the newly built bridge in Mexico. she wrote down a speech and had memorized every word of it, she can't possibly make a mistake, yet she can't shake the sticky feeling of failure off of her. she just can't mess up, with all the new people she recruited in those three weeks, the future of the resistance is in her hands. Sophia was sleeping in an abandoned hotel in Paris, which she was convinced no one knows about, well no one other then Xenon. she'd always teleport there at the end of the day to have a good sleep, because for some reason Paris was always quiet, and was a perfect resting place, even the birds thought so as they always appeared out of nowhere and rested on the trees. "good you're awake" suddenly said Blake standing on the other side of Sophia's bed, "What the hell?" Sophia blurt out startled "how.. How'd you find me?" said as she noticed the little creature laying on Blake's shoulders "of course" she sighed out, "Chubs is getting better at atomic tracking" Blake laughed as the cat was playing with his tail, "You had a cat track me down? seriously?" Sophia said irritated as she was glaring at the cat. Blake had Chubs for over a year now, and the cat keeps on surprising her with how intelligent he is every time she sees him, "They make a good team" she thought to herself. "oh, calm down Sophie" said Blake as he reached into his backpack "I have something for you" he said before he pulled out a silver necklace with a pendulum that looks like the Eiffel Tower, "what is this?" Sophia was confused as she sat up and grabbed the necklace "it's Joseph's necklace" she said, "I wan't you to have it, I'm glad they agreed with me about you" said Blake as he sat by her. Joseph was Blake's father, but also like a father to Sophia. He was diagnosed with AS malfunction the past year, it was all so surprising and they all knew he didn't have much time to live. when Joseph died, the resistance offered his place to Blake, however he was convinced Sophia was better suited for it, and demanded they make her the new leader. Tears began rolling down Sophia's cheeks as her and Blake glared at the necklace "we won't let you down, Joseph" she whispered under her breath, as she had Blake help her put the necklace on.

Location: Mexico Bridge

It Is now 40 minutes before the meeting begins, not everyone has yet arrived. you have strangers everywhere, all seem like warriors, all seem like they've been through the worst. A woman walks up to you and hands over a card, and says "Tears will be here soon, stay put" before she walked over to the next person. ((you can start your story however you want, but if you are from the resistance, make sure to attend the meeting))

You look down at the card, and there is a number. you have no idea what it means.

Joseph's number is 15
Akanah's number is 8
Vance's number is 4
Anu's number is 9
Zero's number is 4

Joseph stares down at the card that is given to him and wonders what the number means. He looks up to search for the woman who handed the card to him and asks. "what does this number mean? What am I suppose to do with this?" Joseph looks around impatiently at the others there a mad scientist type of person and a mysterious woman in black.

Wolf (Joseph's pet wolf) sits by Joseph patiently but very wary of the people around them. He knows this is different from where they usually. He knows that they never leave the wilderness without meat and furs to trade with the local villages, but this, this is no known village and they have no meat and furs to trade. Wold simply nudges Joseph to get him to pet him

Joseph feeling Wolf nudging him begins to absent mindlessly pet him on the head, this reassured Joseph in a way that allows him to think more clearly. He looks at the guy in the lab coat. and begins to wonder. 'Whats a scientist a hunter and...' Looks at the mysterious woman in black '...hmmm a thief? what does Tear want with us and who are these people?'

Joseph walks over to the guy with Wolf on his heals and warmly places a hand out to shake the guys hand. "Hi. My name is Hunter this is Wolf. How are you and whats your name?"

Vance Tessier
Location: Nerock Facility in Germany.

Vance didn't feel like waking up this morning. he knew that today is important for him and Zero, but was too nervous to meet everyone from the resistance. he eventually forced himself to get out of bed and put on some pants and one of his lab coats. he washed himself, and made breakfast. afterwards he went ahead into his lab. where he always found it relaxing in the morning. looking over the big silver clock that's on the wall he saw that its 7:20. the meeting was in 40 minutes! he panicked and ran over to his desk and shoved all his papers aside, he looked under his desk, under the char, he went back into his bedroom and tossed the sheets around but he couldn't find it, AH! he remembered!, I must have forgotten it in the bathroom! he thought to himself. he ran into his bathroom and there it was by the sink. Why do I always tend to put things where they shouldn't be. he clicked his pen and the red light on its top appeared. Three hours. he thought to himself.

Location: Mexico Bridge

Vance has teleported after taking the force field's down. he is now around many strangers, all seem tough and scary, unlike him. he looked around searching for a friendly face, when a woman walked up to him and handed over a piece of paper, with the number 4 on it. "Tears will be here soon, stay put" she said, Vance figured he couldn't miss a chance! he must introduce himself, as if he weren't nervous enough. "uh, Hi there" he mumbled, "I'm Vance" he said as he bowed, as a guy with a huge wolf behind him said "Hi. My name is Hunter this is Wolf. How are you and whats your name?". Startled , He repeated "I'm Vance!". right before he froze, looking at the wolf terrified.

The woman stops and giggles, and says "No, you're doctor", as she comes closer and whispers in Vance's ear "Don't repeat your name, here your name is Doctor". right before she walked away to the next person, she looked over to the wolf and said "Cute" with a soft smile on her face.

slowly the place is getting filled. there should be around 20 to 30 people around, some are chattering around, some are just standing alone, and a few seem to be preparing a stage of some sort, with a microphone and big speakers.

Now that the sun had finally set, Anu pulled the thick sunglasses from her face and fitted them over collar of her t-shirt. Her pale skin a bit pink from the harsh Mexican sunlight, despite her efforts in applying 75 SPF sunscreen. She patted them, and could feel the heat rising off of the burned skin and into her fingertips. Her hand wiped her brow with a displeased expression. She hated sweat. Really, it was a disgusting bodily function and was so inconvenient. Every time she traveled close to the equator she swore she would never return. But here she was, in Mexico, underneath a bridge, waiting for someone along with thirty others. She surprised at the number being so low, then again, they had to start somewhere.

She checked her watch, a dazzling diamond embellished one, and sighed as she walked closer to the crowd adjusting the small back pack on her shoulders. Hopefully this meeting wouldn't take all that long. She still had to catch a teleport out of the city back to Canada to have enough rest before a meeting with the wife of another European ambassador. Ever since returning from her teenage escapade, her parents kept her on a tight leash and only occasionally loosened slack. She was required to carry out her duties and her free time was hers to do what she willed. Mostly, she would study and take classes in the Xennon run college. They held classes mostly on the ways of the government and how to dedicate ones life to helping the world. It was a bunch of gibberish, mainly informing the rich how to become richer. The classes Anu was interested in, however, were the ones that explained the science of teleport.

Her reflection was interrupted as she was handed a card. She looked up at into the face of a woman who said that "Tears would be here." Before Anu had a chance to respond the woman walked away, leaving her to nod to herself as she read the number on the card. Black ink had stroked the word 9. She was puzzled, but slipped the card into the pocket of her shorts and wandered further into the crowd, getting an eyeful of the different kinds of people involved in the resistance. Some looked like they'd been through hell and back, and some looked frightened enough to run away now before anything started. Finding a seat, Anu asked if she could sit down to the person next to her. There was a grunt as a reply, so she took it for a yes? Who knew. Maybe the person didn't even speak English. She sat and gazed on quizzically at the stage resting her elbows on her knees and her chin in her palms.

She seemed to zone out, until someone snatched her wrist, the one with the watch and shouted, "Traitor!" Confused and caught off guard, Anu was dragged to her feet as her wrist was held aloft by a heavy set man with bad breath. "She wears the symbol of Xennon! She's a spy of the government!" She pried at the man's hand trying to wrench herself free. "I am not!" she protested swearing as the man started a ruckus.

Location: Mexico under the bridge

Being surrounded by so many people made Akanah feel somewhat at home. she stood in the shadow basking in the comfort of knowing she could easily kill any ne here with out being noticed when a woman handed her a card, "Tears will be here soon, stay put" she said. Akanah looked at the card and saw the number 8 on yet, she smiled bemusedly. 'I wonder if Tears knew that 8 is my lucky number?'

As she settled back down and watched the crowd moving to and fro going on about their business a young rich looking woman caught her eye, no it was the watch. Akanah watched her s she sat down then being drug from her seat. "Traitor!" She heard the man cry out."She wears the symbol of Xennon! She's a spy of the government!" Akanah watched as she pried at the man's hand trying to wrench herself free. "I am not!" she protested swearing at the man. With cat like movements Akanah had rushed over and grabed the hevy set man from behind and with a dagger at his throat she whispered into the mans ear. "If you wish to live you will let go of this woman. She may just be a thief. You have no idea who she is or what she is doing here." The heavy set man started to struggle but felt that the blade of the dagger press harder against his neck drawing just a sliver of blood. "I said et her go and leave her be..."

Hunter could see that Vance was nervous as he continued to look at Wolf. "No need to be worried about him, unless you are something we hunt in the woods or mean to hurt me he won't bother you." Hunter looks at wolf and points to the floor beside him, knowing this command Wolf sat next to Hunter and began to wag his tail happily his mouth open looking like a smile. You see, harmless. Now I'm going to pretend I didn't hear your name and ask for your name again. Here we don't go by our real names."

As Hunter and Vance engage in friendly conversation a heavy set man rushes past them bumping into Wolf which caused him to growl low at the man. Not hearing or ignoring Wolf the man grabs a girl who was sitting down by the wrist. "Traitor!" He yelled as he watched the commotion he saw a beautiful woman move quietly and quickly to the Woman's aide and couldn't help be in awe at how graceful she was. "Looks like someone is in trouble, but the question would be who?" Hunter chuckled at the Little joke he had just made, but continue to watch. He knew that the woman with the dagger seemed like she could handle herself, she was quick, silent and most of all confident.

As Vance froze and kept standing there, the Man with the wolf realized he was terrified. "No need to be worried about him, unless you are something we hunt in the woods or mean to hurt me he won't bother you." said the man with the wolf, as it sat next to the man and began to wag his tail happily, his mouth open looking like a smile. "You see, harmless. Now I'm going to pretend I didn't hear your name and ask for your name again. Here we don't go by our real names." said the man. "uhh, yeah right" he muttered under his breath. The wolf isn't that bad, its actually kind of cute Vance thought to himself. "they call me Doctor" he smiled as he engaged in friendly conversation with the man who they call Hunter.

suddenly a man pushed through them and bumped into the wolf, rushing to a girl who was sitting and grabbed her by the wrist "Traitor!" He yelled, "She wears the symbol of Xennon! She's a spy of the government!" OH NO! they know I'm here! Vance thought to himself. if he hadn't used his teleport to get here, he would have teleported out of here. before Hunter had a chance to say anything to him, Vance ran around to find a place to hide. He can't have Xenon know what he is doing, they will pull his plug and the chip will kill him. his face is well known in the government, and if someone from Xenon is here, it'll be the end of it. If only Zero was here. he kept searching for a place to hide until he found a little hole between the poles holding the bridge. he sat down in between, convinced no one can see him. I'll stay here long enough, and when I get a chance Ill run.

Anu blinked, and the woman was there, holding a knife against the man's throat. She didn't hear what the woman said to the man, since she whispered it fairly soft into his ear, but she caught some words like "Thief" and "You have no idea...what she is doing here" and "Leave her be..." The man's grip on her forearm tightened before it let go. Dropping her on weak knees that shook and collapsed so she fell back into her seat uncomfortably. Unwarranted tears pricked behind her eyelids from relief and fright. She gripped her arm close to her body as the man then pushed away the knife wielding hand of the woman who saved her. Her wrist seemed to throb with the fast paced beating of her heart. She watched as the man walked away, shouting, "I won't be killed because of her!", and only then did she look at the crowd around her. All of them looked at her as if she was a murderer. She heard some whispers, "She probably has a chip." Others were more panicked, "We need to get out of here before they come." Others looked ready for a fight, "Let them come, we'll kick their asses."

She sniffled, using a fist to brush the tears off, angry for showing such an emotion in front of these people. She looked at the woman who helped her, "Thank you," she said. She didn't realize something as stupid as a watch would cause this much trouble. Everyone was paranoid. No one wanted to get caught. No one wanted to die. The watch had been a gift from her father, the only reason she wore it was because the gifts he gave her was the only attention she ever received from him. She realized that it had the insignia, but she never realized how everyone noticed it.

Anakah knelt down by the young girl that seemed scared and wrapped her arms around her. "You may want to remove the watch while your here. By the way, you may call me Ana..you can call me Ankh till I learn what cover name the resistance wants to give me. What shall I call you?" Anakah rose with the young lady's hand in hers lifting her up while simultaneously sheathing her dagger. AS she sheathed her dagger the young lady could see a glimpse of several bladed weapons strapped to her very well concealed, so much so that she was amazed that anyone could walk around without anyone seeing even one of the many blades.

Curious about the young Lady she couldn't help be curious about her.. "I told that guy that you may have been a thief and stole that watch, but , primarily due to my own occupation, I know that isn't so. Mind if I ask how you acquired such a trinket?" Akanah found a couple of chairs and for them to sit at and gave a cursory glance that warned others that might try something funny to stay back. "Please have a seat don't be afraid, I wont hurt you and unless someone here is really stupid and looking to die noone else will try that stunt again."

Blake Smith

it is now 25 minutes before the meeting is suppose to start. Blake has arrived first, when he suddenly appeared on stage. Chubs the cat has jumped off his shoulder to wander around. "Black-Smith! finally!" yelled a large man walking up the stage's staircase, "Cannon, I didn't expect you to be here." said Blake as he was puzzled to why Cannon was there. Cannon is a senior in the Resistance, however Blake remembers clearly that Cannon didn't approve of Sophia's promotion and left the resistance. "I didn't hear from you for two weeks" said Blake, "yeah sorry about that, I had some time to think, I heard of this meeting and decided to give Tears a chance" Cannon said with a grin in his face, "Tears will be here soon" Blake said almost looking irritated as he walked away.

As Blake walked into the ground he heard whispers of a girl who was apparently a spy, hearing that made him laugh. "Sophie is too smart to have it go wrong, no way there's a spy, she plans things too well" Blake thought to himself. as he walked over to search for the rookies, he noticed Doctor Tiessen hiding between two poles. Blake walked over to him and said "Hey Doctor! how are you doing?".

Meanwhile Cannon was watching everyone, looking for new faces. he knew Sophie was recruiting new people, and was looking for reasons to prove she isn't a worthy leader. one of these rookies has got to be a huge failure on her part, he thought. he's been watching the rich girl from afar.
