    Making a Social Sim Game

I want to host a social sim, that is the player will have stats and money they can use and gain (or lose) and various NPCs they can either befriend, woo or enemy. I was thinking either an Epic Advanture or a Slice of Life to become Great.

    Is anyone interested?

I've been wanting to be in a slice of life, but maybe with something to make it more interesting.

What all would this entail? How would it work?

    Slice of life it is!

Maybe your character would want to be a star or the leader of his or her country and work their way up?

You can start from any time in their life and have to make contacts while working on their skills.

Hold a moment, though. Is this just me playing through a game controlled by you? That's a bit odd. So like a literary Sims?

It could be that, but I was thinking more along the line of those time management games with a bit of an RPG edge. Would you prefer I play something more than the boss or something? What would you like best?

I dunno, actually. Time management, that's what it is. Ever played Persona? Sounds a lot like the social links on that.

So it won't be one on one, the? I prefer group things. It seems to me that you will by necessity have to play a very controlled GMing role.

So we've got to decide on plot. You want everyone to just throw a bunch of ideas around?

Actually my craving comes from Persona.

And yeah, brainstorming would be good to get us all into it .

First thing, by slice of life you meant Modern, right? Or is there another era that would be better?

Modern would make the most sense and be simplest in terms of we don't have to do anything to the "universe" it's in. Gives us one less thing to worry about than if we tried to do futuristic or something like that. We wouldn't have to start from scratch. We should also decide what goal the characters are working towards.
By the way I've never played Persona but I have heard of it.
