Who am I?
Who am I? Well, I'm a little lady people call Amanda. There's nothing more fun for me than a good one on one, since I love writing as much as I do! I can either write amazing things, decent things, or terrible things, it all depends on what you give me. I'm gonna say this right away: If I don't reply within a few days, message me! I don't abandon people purposely! If I can't RP with you for whatever reason, I tell you! Even if the reason is something as mean as I just can't reply to your style. It's really hard for me to shoot people down like that, but I prefer honesty when it comes to people abandoning an RP we started, so, as hard as it is, I'll give that back.
I enjoy video games. A lot. I'm talking like, EarthBound, Mother 3, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Quest, Rogue Galaxy, Radiata Stories, and many, many more. So, as a result, I do enjoy Fantasy and Adventure type RPs, but would you like to know what I love more than anything?

And stuff like that. I enjoy things like The Hunger Games and various different animes, but I won't RP them. I prefer playing as original characters, however it's entirely fine if we take an idea from a show, movie, anime, whatever, as long as you an either explain it well or I understand it.
But yeah, if anyone is interested in the death and drama and romance and all that that comes with zombie apocalypse RPs, count me in. Seriously. I will love you in a heartbeat if you ask if we can do one.
What won't I do?
After much careful consideration, I've almost 100% ruled out Sci-Fi RPs. I just can't pull them off well, I'm sorry. If you want to try and convince me, go for it, I'll seriously consider it if you've got a good plot and know where it's going.
Oh, no sex scenes, please. Gore and violence and swearing is all fine, drop the F bomb every other word, I don't care so long as that's who your character is. But I just can't do sex scenes. Maybe later in life, but right now, I don't find them tasteful. We can suggest it happened with fade to black type situations, that's fine, that's, for the most part, a natural part of character development and relationships and all that. Seriously. No sex.
Ah, I'm not the best at coming up with plot ideas lately. Don't know why, I used to be amazing at it, I swear. Maybe the two or so years of not RPing, previous to joining this site, of course, made me rusty, I don't know. It's something I have trouble with. But, hopefully we can brainstorm together if you don't already have an idea.

- Don't be afraid to talk to me! My best RPs have been with people I small talk with c:
- At least be able to post a paragraph, and a good one, at that. I can post a lot if you post a lot, so just do your best and I understand the occasional poor post or one liner, we're only human.
- Bring ideas to the table on occasion! I don't mind pushing the RP forward, but an idea or two is nice sometimes!
- Tell me if something I do bugs you. If I keep making the same mistake or I'm controlling your characters (I don't do that or anything like that, but let me know if I do so I can improve my writing!), I'd like to fix it!

Hi. I'm interested in a fantasy rp. I'm more of a sci-fi geek, but I'll try a good fantasy one. I'm rusty, and kind of slow. (It can take me an hour to post 2 paragraphs at times.) But I like talking about things OOC and combining ideas. What fantasy ideas do you have up your sleeve? I'm kind of dead on it besides the generic, and one that I did a few years ago. My list of ideas, copied from my own Interest Check with a few additions, is below.
List of Ideas (All works mentioned are just starting points, I'm too lazy to properly stick to a fandom so I avoid using them and just take ideas.)
- Phantom of the Opera-like plot*
- Hunchback of Notre Dame-like plot*
*Note: For years I've wondered what those would be like in a sci-fi setting instead of 15th or 19th century respectively. But either setting works, or a new one is fine too.
- Dystopian Fiction: (i.e. 1984, Gattaca, Brave New World, Hunger Games, Fringe[S5])
- Master x Slave/servant
- Insane asylum
- Space Traders/Smugglers (Firefly-style)
- Government school for "gifted" children/teens that turns out to be evil
- sorcerer/assassin/etc x apprentice/slave
