This Roleplay is set in a Universe where Sora, all of his friends and Xeahnort never existed.

We play a group of young unlikely heroes who must replace Sora on an epic adventure to defeat the evil that has replaced Xeahnort.

Square Enix and Disney Characters will still feature in this Roleplay however they will inhabit worlds unlike anything Sora ever encountered. The Realm Of Light in this Universe shattered in such a way that the worlds we're familiar with blended together. Expect to see the ruins of Beast's Castle scattered amongst the dense foliage of Tarzan's Jungle, the enormous sand dunes of Agrabah floating weightless in Lilo & Stich's space and the Olympus Coliseum submerged alongside Atlantis kept intact by Poseidon and King Triton themselves.

Our heroes inhabit a world named Fort Fortune. A winter wonderland where children are whipped out of school young to work as miners or lumberjacks.

Fort Fortune

Fort Fortune is a small town entirely isolated from the rest of the world by tremendously thick towering walls. Beyond it's cage rage fearsome snow storms that could tear the town to shreds if given the chance. Within the protective walls, Fort Fortune sits practically oblivious to the threat of destruction. The warm glow of street lanterns light paths for it's inhabitants to happily go about their lives, the candy shop's door jingles with every customer and the powerful scent of pine is always present. The daylight is short and night is long. Heart shaped snow falls and dances from the sky during the day. At night stars and planets illuminate the brightly burning night sky.

Traverse Town
Traverse Town is a World created for those who don't have a home.

Coliseum Depths

(Atlantica - Olympus Coliseum)
Air bubbles deep in the depths of the ocean house the Atlantica Coliseum where warriors of the land can clash head to head with warriors of the sea. Poseidon and King Triton themselves spectate these games placing wagers on the who the victor might be.

I understand the point of different worlds colliding, and that aspects/characters of each may have disappeared, but... Hades would make the conflict of the world much more interesting, wouldn't he?

I was planning on featuring Hades in a different world since Ursula is an octopus and can't walk on land. Did you manage to see my post in the other tread before it got deleted? Our characters aren't attempting to put the worlds back together again. Our worlds are as legitimate as Sora's universe's. They don't need fixing. The characters featured in each world won't have any clue that in an alternate universe their life is completely different. For example Ariel, Dumbo an Igor are all Circus Freaks in a gypsy circus. Ariel has no idea in an alternate universe she's a princess.

Choice, I guess? Even if it might come back to kick me in the rear at least I know I'm doing what I want. Maybe I'll make stuff harder for myself and maybe I'll even hate that I made that choice but if thats how its gonna be I'll just have to deal with it. And ya know what? I don't think I'd have it any other way.✓

What do you want outta life?
What do I want, eh? Fond of loaded questions aren’t we? What I want ain't that complicated, I just wanna get out of here. Don't get me wrong, the town ain't completely terrible, I'm sure theres worse places to live but the older I get the less I wanna stay here. We're walled in on all sides and the things are huge, its like a prison. Its stifling, people look at me like I'm nuts when I talk about wishin' I could just hop on over them, but if I could I would. Worse yet my folks've been hounding me to look into working the mines or choppin' trees, do I look like I'm built for that?! And it'd be so boring, haulin' rocks or logs around all day. I just want more then that, don't really know what just yet but I know I do. Maybe what I'm lookin' for is more complicated then I thought... But hey I'm rambling now huh?✓

What are you afraid of?
Centipedes. I'm afraid of centipedes. What? The things are damn gross! Still staying serious huh? What a pain. If thats how ya wanna have it... well... then I guess its the unknown. That probably sounds weird considering everything else I just said, guess I should explain eh? Well I hate not knowing all the cards in my hand, not knowing what to do, not knowing what the future holds. If I can see even just a little bit of the path ahead of me I'm fine, I can push forward that way. Its what I can't see that I'm afraid of. Even if I keep running forward as fast as I can, never knowing whats just over the horizon really gets to me. I've never really thought about it, but maybe I'm just afraid there could have been a better choice just out of sight.✓

Oh sorry! I'm not really a fan of the Keyblade Piece idea. I guess I'm still keen on the thought of competitive Keyblade wielding and I love the idea of every time conflict arises all of the main characters fall into a dive of heart and compete for control.

Well, as she said before shes fine with the one keyblade idea if it ends up being that. Multiple keyblades is certainly the easiest option but also probably the least interesting. Heh, but it'd work if nothing else suitable could be thought up.

Ah, alright, I didn't see that before the last thread went down, but it makes sense. I'm slowly starting to understand your vision for the game now. As for the Keyblades, at this point, and considering the above, I have to say that the most viable option is to give them to everyone. It'll give us room to add further story, without being hung up on the Keyblades themselves. In the end, I don't see the competition as a positive direction. It seems like it would just sow resentment between the characters, where giving them to everyone would allow the characters more of an opportunity to bond over their similar goals and struggles, yeah?

What is your name?

Oh, um, we’re starting? Okay, my name is Aria... Ha, it’s rather pretty, don’t you think? My, um, my grandmother was a singer, and she started calling me “Little Aria” when I was a baby, I guess because my parents hadn't yet given me a true name, having only had boys up until then... I think one time, when I asked her why, she said that before I could really say any words I would still try to talk, and I would give long monologues of "baby-speak" to anyone who would listen… For some reason, she equated that to an operatic aria, so that’s what she called me. My parents, *sigh*, loving as they were, just shrugged and said "Yeah, that works..." In the end, I can be glad that it wasn't anything bad. I do quite like Aria.✓

What's most important to you?

Hrm… If pressed, I guess I’d have to say people. Like, all people. Everyone. Their happiness, you know? If there’s one thing I can’t stand, one thing I would gladly give my life to end, it’s cruelty. I see it everywhere! Especially from all of the men, the workers. They don’t seem to be capable of kindness anymore… It’s as if they’ve been pushed down for so long, their humanity has started to leak away... *shudders* It’s scary... Oh, um, and wisdom. It’s pretty hard to do anything about cruelty without wisdom, I think, and I try to read a lot and talk to a lot of different people, to pick up on as much wisdom as possible. I haven’t so far, but hopefully I’ll be able to find some tidbit, some piece of knowledge that will point me in the direction I want to go...✓

What do you want outta life?

I mean, it depends on if you’re talking big picture or what, but I think I’ve got it: An opportunity for enlightenment. Um, I remember reading this book a long time ago, written by a spiritual sage, maybe a guru, something like that, and he said: “Life is short, and often miserable, so there is no reason to waste it on pettiness and personal gain. Instead, one should find an inner peace, and help others to do the same.” I’ve pretty much taken that to heart. My, um, my brothers work non-stop, my Dad has been working for years, just doing the same thing he’s always done, but all of them seem to just be turning their wheels… Surviving, but not living, you know? It seems like it gets constantly harder to live in the Fort as time goes on…✓

What are you afraid of?

Oh yeah, another book for this one. There was a science-fiction story I read just a month or two ago, in which the punishment for murder and treason was to have your mind downloaded into a computer with a self-sustaining, practically inexhaustible power source, then have the computer locked in a tiny black box and jettisoned into space… Maybe it goes without saying, but you’re conscious the whole time. Imagine that. Thoughts, but no senses, nothing but darkness for all eternity… And no one can hear you scream. Scary stuff... But, um, in a general, real-life sense, though, I’m afraid of being stuck into one specific path for the rest of my life. I’m afraid of being turned to stone, if that makes any sense. Of having all of my opportunities snuffed out, and being left with nothing but work to fill my time… In the end, I’m afraid of ending up like my family…✓

What is your favorite flavor ice cream?

Ha, wow, I’m glad you’re finally lightening up, after all of those really heavy ones... Um, my favorite ice cream is a special, homemade blend: What we do is take good chocolate ice cream and marble it with this fantastic creamy melted fudge, and to top it off, there are smaller, fudgy candies that are mixed in with the marbling… We call it the Holy Trinity, and God, it’s to die for… In fact, I think I’ve got some in the kitchen. You want a bite?✓

What is your name?
Oh, what's my name you ask? My names Legato, the Mother of the orphanage gave the name to me because when I was young I supposedly walked around the orphanage humming a tune in such a smooth manner. I don't exactly understand it but I wasn't the one who gave me the name. *Shrugs casually* What else can I say about myself? Oh, right, I am an orphan if that wasn't clear from what I said earlier. With the money I earn from random jobs I tend to buy nice clothes, I try to look wealthier than I really am and I try to avoid admitting I am an orphan.✓

What's most important to you?
Well, that's an easy question. Money and power. Without those two things no changes can be made. I refuse to live my life weak. I must become strong to give a better life to my brothers and sisters still in the orphanage and no obstacle will stop me. This said I am no monster that will step over people to achieve my goal. I care for people greatly and any feat can be overcome with friends and comrades. But I refuse to allow something or someone hold me back from my goal to gain power.✓

What do you want outta life?
Freedom without restraint. That is the one thing I would like to see. It is the thing I strive for, that is why I need power to make real change. I want to see my brothers and sisters to stand tall instead of crawling in the streets for scraps.✓

What are you afraid of?
I fear nothing. Fear is restraint. And I will not be held back! Nothing will hold me back. Nothing will hold me still! I will tear through any barrier set in my path to become better, stronger, even greater than anything imagined! I am Legato and I am a force to be reckoned with!✓

What is your favorite flavor ice cream?
Hmm.... There are so many flavors to choose from. I would have to say it is chocolate ice cream with peanut butter swirl. Yes yes, that is most certainly my favorite! It is quite delicious and I could eat it constantly without stopping, not a problem! Rich chocolate with yummy and creamy peanut butter.... mm, mm, mm. *smiles delightfully*✓
