It seems as though you have found yourself in the Arkham Asylum, whether it be from your choosing, a Judge's, or Batman's. The cells are made of concrete with a plexi-glass side so its easy to see everything inside a cell with relative safety from the outside. But then again, the only real safety around here is outside the gate.

So yeah, you get it. Arkham is not a place for joking around (Hehehe). Do you dare step foot inside?

Personality:The Joker is an insane madman with skills in chemical engineering and weapon design that he uses to create deadly combinations that kill, maim, and torture his victims. He is responsible for the deaths of many people, and has contributed to the mental breakdown of others as well. The Joker has been a frequent resident in
Arkham Asylum.
Bio: Joker has told so many stories about himself, no one knows which one is true. Joker's memory before his "creation" is fragmented, and imagined a large amount of the time.

Selina's a tall, slim , and very curvacious woman. Pretty pale, due to not being a huge fan of tanning (artificial or naturally) with large blue eyes and a head of curly blond ringlets that dance about her shoulders.
Initial Crime:Thievery of any and call cat-named, themed, or related objects from musuems, jewelry cases, and anything sad enough not to have a better security system. She has also been the cause of several terrorist attacks based on reasons of 'animal rights'.
State of Mind:Compared to most of the other inmates, relatively sane. Still, she wouldn't have a place amongst the 'hard-core psycotics' if that was the end of it. Severe disrespect for authority, to the point of being almost sociopathic, and little to no regard for other human life.


Personality: Selina's a slick socialite, or she was, who was just as much of a vixen as she is dangerous. Cunning, sophisticated, and a tad crazy, she's developed a bigger affinity with the animal kingdom then the human one, and will gladdly murder another human being (or a whole group of them) if it means the rescue of any animal at any time. However, to the lucky few that she does share a lkiing for, you won't find a more fun, curious, and protective companion.

Personality: Genius Level Mind. Can not help himself must always leave clues and riddles. Massive ego.

Name: Zel 'Sparky' Jones

Appearance: He has gold eyes and silver hair. He stands at 5"8 and has a skinny build. When not wearing the inmates uniform, he is usually dressed in a black and red hoodie and jeans. On his left wrist is a lighting tattoo.

Initial Crime: Sparky committed countless crimes. Some as simple as robbing banks, to things extreme like murders. The problem was catching him. One carefree day, he decided to lounge about in an abandoned warehouse. Apparently he was being watched and in the end~ well he got captured.

State of Mind: He's got a few screws loose, and occasionally may think in a fourth wall manner- but he does my talk to himself...so he says.

Personality: Zel is a giggly and happy spirit. A little too happy at that. Though, when he's angry, it's not very pretty. And a pyromaniac.

Bio: He'll only tell about himself if you really ask. The one thing he does tell is that he can manipulate electricity.

Legal Name: Jason Peter Todd

- Current Alias: The Red Hood
- Initial Crimes: The Red Hood is a notorious figure in Gotham's underworld, often aggressively taking over the various street gangs and regulating Gotham's drug trade. Notably, since the Red Hood's arrival in Gotham, the number of child drug addicts has decreased substantially
Psychological Assessment: Extremely aggressive and idealistic, advised maximum security at all times.
Personal History: All we could gather up from public records and the Red Hood's statement was that he was born to two druggies in the south side of Gotham. He had an understandably rough childhood, and most likely to survive, the boy attempted to steal the wheels of the Batmobile itself. Although he failed, Todd was taken in by Batman, and made the second Boy Wonder, Robin. According to Batman, and I can vouch for this, Nightwing's replacement has always been aggressive and outspoken. Admittedly, Batman's statement cannot be particularly trusted, he seemed irked during our confrontation, and left almost as soon as he came. Mysteriously, the criminal Ra's al Ghul has stated that the League of Shadows had taken the young Robin's deceased body and thrown him into a Lazarus Pit, thus resurrecting the man known as the Red Hood.

Pamela's crime mostly deals with eco-terrorism. She focuses on killing and hurting people who harms plants, and often helps other villains with their own heists.

State of Mind:Pamela is very seductive and controlling. She seems docile and un-caring of her environment, but in reality, she's trying to seduce every guard that comes across her cell. She hopes to use them for her escape, but is very unlucky with her progress. Sometimes she could be seen as insane, often muttering to herself about her precious 'babies'.

Pamela is very sultry and talk. She gets what she wants with nothing more than a couple of gestures. She could be incredibly charismatic when she wants to, but she can also be very sad, depressed, and overall antisocial. Due to the fact that a touch and kiss could poison anyone, she feels very lonely and sad inside, but her plants keeps her from going over the deep end.

State of Mind: Unhinged
Personality: Highly intelligent and manipulative. Views others as potential test subjects and has a morbid fascination with fear.
Bio: A former psychologist working at Arkham Asylum, Crane was brought up by his grandmother in an abusive household and grew to resent her whilst still young. He was bullied by his peers during his youth and would be called names like 'Ichabod' and 'Scarecrow' due to his skinny and lanky frame. This constant bullying caused Crane to become obsessed with his own fear and fantasies of revenge. Inspired by one of the nicknames used to taunt him, Crane dressed up as a Scarecrow and crashed his High School prom, brandishing a gun at two of his tormentors who died in a car crash after attempting to flee. Crane suddenly realised that he quite enjoyed scaring people to death.

Crane later murdered the grandmother who had abused him so much throughout his childhood. After high school, he attended University and became the top student in his Psychology class. After being denied a colleague position with his Psychology professor, he chose to kill him instead using the fear toxin he had recently developed. He took the Professor's place as the Psychology teacher and shifted the emphasis of the lessons to fear. This led to an infamous incident where he brought a loaded gun to class and shot a potted plant with it, causing a shard to hit a student and lead to Crane's dismissal. Hungry for revenge, Crane killed the men responsible for firing him and took on a life in crime. His dichotomous lifestyle began when, at the same time as being a career criminal, he started working at Arkham Asylum as a psychiatrist. It was here where he developed a more intimate understanding of fear after experimenting on his patients.

Eventually, the murders Scarecrow had committed had caught up to him and he was apprehended by Batman, being sent to the Asylum and becoming one of the very patients he used to treat.

Personality: sweet and kind but firm. she smiles and is light-hearted with the inmates as long as they don't cross the line. when they do, she becomes cold and clinical. doesn't let what the inmates have done affect her job to care for them as a nurse. she tries, and fails, to hide her fear of some of the inmates *cough* Joker *cough, cough*
Bio: Mom and Dad retired to Florida. Lives on her own with her cat Jingle and her hamster Porky. Brother was killed in one of Joker's schemes, hence her fear of him.

Appearance:

Iris is notorious for her modest dress, rarely showing any skin besides her hands and face. She favors white blouses with a variety of colored sweaters over them, black dress pants, and low-heeled, practical black business pumps. She doesn’t wear makeup but always possesses a lingering cinnamon scent from her perfume.
Occupation: Intern, completing a yearlong practicum before becoming licensed
Personality:
Iris is a very quiet person, which most would take as an indication of shyness and timidity. This, however, is a false presumption in Iris’s case. Remarkably observant and an excellent listener, Iris is as sharp as a tack. She likes to let others fill the silence, so she can analyze their responses, their actions, their words. When she does speak it is never without purpose, making small talk a difficult undertaking with her. Though very skilled at analyzing others, she greatly detests being analyzed herself, and easily becomes defensive and angry, especially when people ask questions about her family.
Iris loves puzzles of any kind. She can always be counted on to have the newest edition of pocket Sudoku and pocket Crossword on her at all times, and will never pass up an interesting riddle or problem.

I want to leave her family life a little hazy, and bring it out more over the course of the RP. Let’s just say they are a big part of the reason she’s becoming a psychologist.
She attended Gotham State University on a full-ride scholarship. While there she was an active member of the gymnastics team (part of the conditions of her scholarship), but mostly focused on academics. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology and immediately entered the doctoral Psychology program at GSU. She has just completed the intensive four-year study portion of the program and is now entering the one-year practical internship at Arkham Asylum, after which she will be able to obtain a practitioner’s license.

Occupation: Guard.
Personality: Harry is one of the older guards at Arkham and it shows in his experience when dealing with the patients. He is a very thick skinned yet stubborn man who will follow his orders exactly as told to make sure security runs smoothly though he has deviated in the past which has prevented some incidents on more than one occasion. He knows well enough how most of the patients operate on a daily basis given his long employment and most if not all of the long term residents are used to his presence.
Bio: Harry has been the way he is since his 30s and the loss of the wife to criminals that would end up being situated in Arkham. He has worked there ever since keeping an eye on the patients and having worked his way up from a low rank guard to right below the head guard, though this was his request because he didn't decide to work here at a desk. He has a son who simply leaves his father to his job making Harry something of a lonely old man with very little company except the staff or the patients. He rarely leaves Arkham unless ordered, like a home away from home for him.

Occupation: Head of surveillance, helps to monitor and maintaining surveillance cameras, manages the prison’s information database.
Personality: Lazy, falling asleep when people aren’t watching…but at the same time, a thoughtful person.

Name: Dr. Achilles Milo

Occupation: Head Pharmacist, Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane

Personality: Outwardly charming, yet cold, cruel and arrogant in reality
Bio: Achilles Milo, of Greek descent, is one of the world's foremost experts in mind-altering chemicals. He was brought on at Arkham in the hopes that his expertise could be used in rehabilitating the incredibly insane inmates of the asylum. While he has indeed made some headway, his petty sadism and arrogance have been exacerbated by his position. He has come to regard the asylum as his personal laboratory, and the inmates within as his own guinea pigs.

State of Mind: He is insane but not in the 'coo-coo laughs at everything' way. He hardly ever talks and when he does he's either somewhat angry or is expressing his love for either his motorbike or killing but he always talks in the same monotone voice.
Personality: It's hard to put a point on his personality, he seems to be serious but would find Joker's jokes funny although he wouldn't laugh. He is a sadist and loves to see people get hurt.

It is unknown whether or not Mr Grimm is human. He displays signs of being human but displays no emotion towards anything, shock therapy failed and so did various other treatments. He shows signs of anger at times often when the picture of his motorbike is taken from him. Warning do not take the picture away, subject made almost demonic noises last time we tried to do this as treatment. Subject almost killed a guard by strangling him when the picture was taken away. This is one of the only times he shows any emotion, his voice does not show any at any time, it is always the monotone voice, sweet and terrible like a madman's lullaby. He is shown as hostile at random times to staff. When this happens please hold him back and tase him if possible. He shows signs of high endurance, tasers shock him a bit and punches seem to hurt when hit on the head or skull as it where. If possible do not give him writing utensils or paper he has tried to escape multiple times and made it halfway numerous times.
