The gloom and lowlight of the forest was only amplified by the setting sun, casting a shadow over the campsite, where Ted stood, pushing the pegs into the ground, smiling back at Leaf. His Mudkip, ZuZu, sat on his shoulder, watching her master working. She was happy enough with her new master, enjoying the company of the two humans, and the female trainer's Ralts. "Leaf, I'll start the fire in a moment, just got the beds to make up." He paused, then kissed her cheek warmly. " Thanks for waiting to travel untill I was ready. Love ya sis." Ted disappeared into the tent, laying out the sleeping bags on the floor. A few Wurmple and Slakoth tried to sneak into the tent, but we're warded off by ZuZu's Water Gun attack.

Walking back out a moment or two later, Ted smiled at his sister as he unzipped his bag, grabbing the food and a thick, warm blanket, draping it over Leaf and himself, talking in his quiet, hushed tones. "You know what? In this bag are clean clothes, a blanket, food and some supplies for the Pokémon. Yet, it is full. I fail to see how some trainers have smaller bags, and carry the same amount.". He was slightly indignant in his tones, confused as to why the laws of physics seemed to evade some of the other traveling trainers.

Leaf snuggled in the blanket, she was comfy and enjoyed the feeling of the forest, they were finally starting on an adventure, she had waited, but she was okay about it, it was good to adventure with him, her ralts rose snuggled up with her, rose liked Leaf a lot, and also liked Ted. "Well, who knows..maybe the laws of physics don't like you?" She said in her soft voice. "Or they cheat" She giggled putting her hand up to her mouth. "How's Zuzu?" Leaf asked, she thought the mud kip was cute.

Meanwhile in a other section of the forest, a boy was singing along with his aron, who he had named Steven, this boy was called Callum, "We're off on a adventure Steven, the many things we can do, maybe even become strong..and BECOME THE CHAMPION...well, when I'm older" Callum laughed with his aron, Steven had saved him...and Steven was funny sometimes.
"Maybe we can find some people to talk to?" He said to Steven

Ty walked through Petalburg forest with his Trapinch behind him. "I wanna be the very best, like no-one ever was." He started singing. "To catch them is my real test, to train them is my cause. I will travel, across the land, searching far and wide. To show all the Pokemon, the power that's inside. Pokemon, a heart so true, our courage will pull us through. You teach me and I teach you." "Trap, Trap, Trapinch!" Trapinch began singing along with his trainer. Ty chuckled slightly, bending down and stroking his Trapinch's smooth head. He straightened back up again and began walking. Trapinch gave a sort of squeal of terror as a Wurmple crawled out of the trees a couple of yards in front of them. "Trapinch, it's only a Wurmple, you don't have to be afraid..." Ty reassured him. Trapinch shied away behind Ty as if he could protect him from the Bug type. Ty picked him up and carried him. "I know your scared of Grass and Bug Type Pokemon after that encounter with that Cacnea but you have to be brave. Especially in a place like this..." He said, stroking his Pokemon's head gently to try and calm it.

"Eeeew!" Mylene squeeled to herself as she looked around the dank forest, finding herself surrounded by grass and leaves and all sorts of creepy crawlies. She wasn't used to nature; city life had always provided her with clean air, and pretty pokemon, not things that looked like they had crawled out of a horror movie. It had been a tough couple of days for Mylene, after being flown to visit her Aunt Jess in Little Root town, she had made her way through the different Routes and Towns [[even if there were only two; Oldale and Petalburg]] until she reached a forest. She was scared. She didn't want to go through this thing on her own, but there didn't seem to be anyone else around who was willing to help her, so she decided on waiting by the entrance until someone half helpful showed up. She looked at her Staryu's Pokeball, frowning slightly. She couldn't even have Osbourne's company, as he was even more afraid of the bugs than she was! She really needed more little Pokemon friends [[and human friends too, but she was going to let that slide for a bit.]] Crossing her arms in a huff, she placed her satchel on the ground, sitting down next to it. She wasn't going to go through this alone.

Ted smiled, letting Leaf go. "Listen, I'm gonna go back to town and get some food from the Pokémon mart. Grabbing his shoulder bag and swinging it on, across his thin frame. "I'll be back later. Please don't get into trouble while I am gone, ok?" He smiled happily at his dear twin sister, kissing her cheek as he walked toward the exit of the forest, twigs breaking underfoot as grass rustle lightly. Blinking at seeing the younger female stood there, he strolled towards her, ZuZu still on his shoulder. "Are you alright? If you need help getting through the forest, I can provide some form of help. If you want." His tired, soft voice was weary with exhaustion, but he didn't mind.

Letting out a sigh of relief at the stranger's kindness, Mylene nodded her head.
"That would be lovely! I mean, I have my own supplies and stuff, so I can help you out too if you need it. I just... I hate bugs!" she exclaimed, resisting the urge to shriek in a girlish fashion after spotting a thicket of grass jiggle slightly, sending her mind into a frenzy about what could be hiding in there. What if it was one of those disgusting Wurmples? She shuddered at the thought, before turning her wide eyes back to her saviour. "I'm Mylene, of Lilycove City! And this is my best friend, Osbourne!" she introduced herself, pointing to the pokeball hooked onto the strap of her satchel, before extending her hand to the boy as a form of greeting. "What about you? What's your name?" she tilted her head slightly, picking up her satchel.

Jason and his Aron were walking through Petalburg forest obviously lost but Jason didn't care. He was just happy to be out adventuring rather than being home at Dewford. Jason already knew it was going to be difficult on him in later places due to his well 'fear' of crowds. "Yup Aron i've just confirmed that we're lost but i'm just happy to have gotten here so far" Jason muttered to himself. Aron was walking next to Jason at the time looking around to see what it could see.

Ty continued walking with Trapinch in his arms. Trapinch looked around for more bug Pokemon. Out of the corner of his eye, Trapinch saw something white through the trees. "Trapinch!" He said, looking towards it and alerting his trainer. Ty looked to the white thing Trapinch had seen and saw an Aron. "An Aron! What's it doing in the forest?" He thought aloud. Then Jason came into his veiw from through the trees. "That must be his Aron... Hey! Over here!!!" He called to Jason, waving one of his arms around and still holding Trapinch in his arms.

"Oh hello there didn't see ya at first....so much brush" Jason said upon seeing Ty. "Anyways i'm uh Jason and this is Aron we're kinda lost" Jason said looking around at the surroundings. Jason looked over at Trapinch noting it's type and thinking that in a place like this would be dangerous for Trapinch and Aron a like due to the possibilities of these bug types knowing that some may know grass moves.

Ty smiled slightly before sighing hopelessly. "I'm Ty and this is Trapinch." Ty said, looking at Trapinch. "Trap!" The little, orange Pokemon said happily. "We're kind of lost too... Could we come with you? You know... Strength in numbers and all that." He said, looking at Jason.
