My Little Pony: Another Story

The Mane 6 weren't the only group of friends in Ponyville. Sure, they were the most well known, with the Elements of Harmony and all. They save the world, help citizens, and still have time to be friends.

Ponyville goes on, now in an economical boom from the Mane 6 being there. With an influx of ponies, pegasi, unicorns, and maybe even stranger, there's bound to be another group of friends, like the main six: different personalities somehow attracted like magnets. Today is the day they form.On trains, carts, and wings, they come, different situations bringing them to the famous town. And although they won't possibly be as famous as the Mane 6, they're adventures, and someone needs to tell them.

The sun rises. Sugarcube corner opens for another day. The whistle blows when the Manehatten train comes in. The voice of ponies fill the street, and the fillies are running off to school. As the day starts, the Mane Six get caught up somewhere else. A problem brews. Some new ponies must help people, at least for one day.

This will have a format like the show, with episodes and season premiers. We will have a cycle of "directors," or GM's for that episode, but you won't have to be one. As for the Mane 6, they're minor characters, and people can play them as they get involved. I have an idea for a few episodes, but I need some others.

Goals in life: Simply to escape the city life he had left behind.

Bio: Eddie was born in the slummier inner city of Fillydelphia. He never knew his parents, and instead was forced to grow up alone, stealing what he needed to survive and became very good at it. One day, though, he was finally caught by a Detective named Tracy. Instead of turning in the young colt, Tracy instead took him in and taught the young Eddie everything he knew about detective work and how to solve crimes and mysteries. It all went well until a particular case. Tracy and Eddie were chasing a thief across the Fillydelphia rooftops, and Tracy knocked Eddie out of the way of what was clearly a trap that sent Tracy off the roof and plummeting to his death. Eddie never did catch that thief, and decided it was time to start taking the fight to the criminals. Armed with his knowledge of the streets and detective skills, Eddie donned a dark and concealing outfit and took to the streets at night, calling himself Knight-Mare. Knight-Mare was, quite literally, a nightmare for criminals and police alike to deal with, as he would strike from the shadows and then melt back into them before anyone could stop him. After a few years of this, Eddie grew weary of the big city and decided it was time to retire the Knight-Mare cowl. He took a train to Ponyville, hoping that life in a smaller town would do him good, and that he would leave behind everything pertaining to Knight-Mare.

Note: The Knight-Mare thing will likely get brought up in an episode I am in charge of and become a recurring element every now and then. However, it's in no way meant to be his main gimmick, just something from his past that can haunt him every once and awhile. He is trying to escape from that life after all.

Carmen

Name: Carmen Bizet

Goals in life: Write a big, epic play/musical and play in the leading role of any play in Equestria.

Bio: Carmen was born in the coastal town of Baltimare, growing up in a very structured and cultured family. Although her father wasn't around all that often, she knew it was because of his work and never held it against him. Her mother was her best friend, and was also an actress in the local theater. The more her mother became involved, the more the young mare became engrossed with the theater, the plush seats and rafters became like a second home to Carmen. However, she wanted something more than to simply watch the production. She wanted to be on the stage, be seen and heard for something she could do. Shortly after Carmen was scheduled to try out for a play, she discovered that her father had been moved to Ponyville for his job. While she was disappointed in the move and the missed opportunity for a role in a play, she welcomed the move to Ponyville. Carmen now works as a director in the Ponyville Little Theater, still hoping for her break.

Bio: Living in a high-rise building in Manehatten most of his life, Easel was raised by rich unicorns with all the privileges of a rich pony- great education, ability to get whatever he wants, fantastic birthday parties... But it never made him happy. When he found his passion- painting and art in general- he couldn't stop thinking about the world outside. Easel left on his day of independence, leaving to travel Equestria. He worked on his art, from Appleoosa to Fillydelphia, learning from others and such. He fell into the wrong crowd occasionally (but I'll keep that secret for later episodes), but he tried to keep the path. Eventually, he ended back home where we start this fine adventure.

Goals in life: In training to become Luna’s advisor and lady in waiting.


Bio: Artemis is the daughter of Fleur de Lis who works as a model in Canterlot and North Pole who is a member of the royal guard. When she was little she used to sneak out all the time to watch Princess Luna’s beautiful night. It was during one of these times that she slipped from the tree she was watching in and would have been badly hurt if Princess Luna hadn’t rescued her. From there on she promised to train to serve the princess of the Night, which gave her moon based cutie mark and the arrow which guided and pointed.

She is calm and serene as is part of her training but has a fun loving side. She is kind and generous to all she meets and once she is determined to make someone smile it won’t be too long until they are. She has picked up her mother’s habit of posing when she is not doing anything, it’s a bad habit but one she just can’t stop. Recently she has been so busy training that she has neglected all else and her parents and the princess have given her some time off to do her own thing.

Goals in life:Find out why her father left, Keep the art of puppets, and puppeteer-ing alive.

Bio:A mare from the small village of Hoofington, her family owned a puppet theater, and shop. Marionette has Been practicing, and making puppets since she was born. Spending the majority of her free time crafting her own puppets, to use in the shows, her parents produce. Some of her fondest memories is when she was controlling the lead puppet for a few shows. On the side when she was not practicing, or crafting. She would read the few spell books that the small village had, trying to find ways to spice up the puppet shows.

But then one day, her father left leaving a note, only telling them where he was going. As the note said, he left for Trottingham for something urgent. A few months passed, and everything seemed normal aside from her dad being gone.
Then Marionette received a strange gift in the mail. It was that of a dragon puppet, which had a message in it's mouth.
The message asked for Marionette to leave the village, and keep the art of puppetry alive. Marionette traveled around a bit until she settled in ponyville during the economical boom. She set up a small shop, where she would perform, and sell puppets she made.

Appearance/Color/Cutie Mark/Usual Garb: Coat is white, mane blue pink and white. Wings, blue. Cutie mark: Pink heart.

Mindset, Personality Quirks, Flaws: Heart is a very kind, thoughtful and gentle pony. She feels great empathy for others, especially when they are hurt or sick. Heart is generally a soft spoken pony who seldom shows a temper, is patient and long suffering of others, and is happy to put the need(s) and the want(s) of others ahead of her own, sometimes to a fault, which could be said to be one of Heart's flaws. Her attention for other often means Heart will neglect meal time and sleep, which could be said to be her other main flaws.

Special Talent: HeartSong has the ability to use her magic to heal injuries, though since she is young and still learning, there are some things that are beyond her grasp. Heart is also very good at finding herbs and medicines that can help in healing sickness or aid in mending a injury. She can also sing quite beautifully and often can be found singing to herself when alone as she is rather shy in regards to singing in front of anypony publicly.

History: Heart was the youngest of three children born to her parents and their only filly. She lived a comfortable life in Canterlot, as did all the other ponies... With a lifestyle that saw her need(s) and want(s) met easily, Heart could have easily became a much different pony then she did. Thankfully, despite their high standing, Heart’s parents were mindful to see to it that their children grew up to be as caring and kind ponies as possible, teaching them to never look down on another pony regardless of his/ her heritage or status in life.

Heart’s talents were noted at a very early age and so after time had passed, Heart took the required test and after passing, she was admitted into the school for gifted unicorns, where at she studied until the day it was decided that she was ready to begin practicing her magic in a non scholastic setting. Being given a number of choices where she could go, Heart settled on Ponyville since it was the closest town to her home and her family. Should she fail, home wasn’t far, not that Heart thought she would fail, but she had much to learn yet, and it was possible, Heart thought, the ponies in Ponyville wouldn't like her.

Heart moved to Ponyville and took up residence in a small home near the town’s hospital. After settling into her new home, Heart went to work at the hospital as a nurse/healer in training. Although she wasn’t sure at first, Heart has quickly fallen in love with Ponyville and has found herself meeting, and making more friends then she had dreamed she might. So happy with her decision has Heart been, even though she has yet to be in Ponyville for a full year, she has told her parents that she plans on Ponyville as her home permanently.

Starlight was born in Cantelot to her unicorn parents with intentions of one day becoming one of Princess Celstia's special students just like her parents had been and like her older sister, Sunshine Secrets. Starlight has always looked up to her older sister, wanting to do everything that her sister does and wanting to be with her most often. Her parents were thrilled with the idea, sure that her older sister's talents would rub off on the young filly. As time went by and others Starlight's age began earning their cutie marks, her parents began to worry that Starlight could be a late bloomer, Sunshine was the first in her age group to earn her cutie mark, a brilliant sun surrounded by twinkling sun spots. They tried to keep their worries hidden from their youngest, but it was obvious to her that she was disappointing. She began searching for a way to make her cutie mark appear, sometimes wandering off when she wasn't supposed to and getting herself in trouble. Finally, her sister Sunshine had the idea that Starlight should move to a small town called Ponyville with her in the hopes of discovering Starlight's cutie mark, while at the same time, keeping her out of danger, and her parents from embarrassment. Starlight's parents do love her, but they have a very prestigious reputation and they worry their daughter's late blossoming might tarnish it. They claim to be more worried for her sake then their own. Sunshine takes good care of her sister, but sometimes becomes sidetracked and forgets to pay more attention than she should.

This is Sunshine Secrets, I'll probably just NPC her mostly, but if anyone wants to play her feel free ^.^

Shutterbug:

Bio: Shutterbug is always dreaming of a world outside just her own pony perspective. Where some ponies see a stream of water, Shutterbug sees a majestic ocean. Where some ponies see a lunchline, Shutterbug see's an epic battle between good and evil. This gives her many inspirations for creating her own little mini movies, but she dreams for more. To create a film that helps put her, and her friends in the spotlight.

Sometimes she's a little spacy, and other times her imagination can run away with her. However, she's always a friendly, honest, and cheerful pony to be around.
