Sounds pretty interesting so far. I've been meaning to get into tabletop gaming myself sometime.
So being as bored as I am I've decided to try out the Mythic GM Emulator, a book that one can supposedly use to play solo rpg's. I have a Ranger character made up as a DM NPC for the Pathfinder game I run for my friends, and I'll be using her for this. I'll be half writing this as a story, half keeping track of my rolls, and what the emulator tells me here. I'm also pretty new to Pathfinder, and table top roleplaying in general so this should be a neat way to hammer the rules into my head.
So here goes. I already have the intro started, as I tried this for a bit yesterday. Basically, Winnifrid Wylde, a Human Ranger (4) has woken up on a large Longship with no recollection of how she got there, or what she was doing beforehand. Dressed in naught but rags, her equipment is missing, and the boat seems oddly empty. After clearing her head, and taking a quick look around the ships interior, she headed topside and discovered that their was no one manning the ship.
After confirming that she was, in fact alone, the young women tried to get a bead on her general location. Though there doesn't appear to be any land around her at all, she did confirm that she was heading due south with the help of the setting sun. With nowhere to go, and no supplies, the red haired women sits on the deck and ponders on what to do.
Should I stay on course? There's no way to tell if I've been heading to south since my departure, or how long I've been sailing for that matter. Although, I have yet to hunger, I could use a drink, but truthfully I must not have been out at sea for long. Hours perhaps? Perhaps I should attempt to steer the boat around, head back in the general direction I came from.
Winnifrid decided on that course of action, and began to fuss around the deck, attempting to gain control of the large vessel. Despite her best efforts however, without a crew she was unable to control the boat properly. It creaked and rocked, threatening to capsize when she tried to steer it. After a few nail biting minutes where she was certain the boat was tip, it finally righted itself, and she opted to leave the wheel alone for the time being. Maybe she'd try again later.
Now what?
She decided to search the boat. [Wondering how to do this; gonna roll perception, (14), then asked the emulator "Is the boat empty" seeing as how it already said it was devoid of life, and seemed to be damaged. It said YES, so there's nothing to find sadly. just an empty boat in the middle of nowhere]
No luck, the entire ship was empty. No sailing equipment, no food, no water. It was as though someone had built the wooden vessel up around her, then pushed it off to sea before it could be properly equipped. By the gods, how had she gotten on this damned thing!
Time passed slowly and not much happened. A shark passed by, the sun set, and the stars took back the sky. Her stomach began to growl after the sun had dipped below the water. Her mind drifted back to the shark she had seen earlier, swimming up close to the boat. Had she a weapon, or something to fish with she could attempt to catch herself a meal. But she had meager access to any materials. A spear could be made with a sharpened piece of the boat, she would do that in the morning. If she accidentally broke off something important, and caused the entire craft to sink, she wanted it to be during the day, when she could see whatever lurked below coming for her.
Shivering at the thought, and because of the cold air, she slowly drifted to sleep and dreamed of the great and ancient behemoths that dwelt in the darkest parts of the sea below her.
*** END SCENE ***
[Ending the scene now, and beginning the next one, which may 'cause a random event to happen. Seeing as how we didn't accomplish anything, I'm going to up the chaos level, which in turn will make more random events happen. Oh, it appears the scene has been ALTERED, in a NEGATIVE way. So lets assume the badly damaged boat has begun to take on water while she slept.]
She had nightmares that she was drowning in a pitch black sea, that she was safe at home, yet unable to breath, and tantalizing dreams of all the food her stomach longed for. Then she awoke sputtering up salty, sea water. She was laying on her side, in inch of water that covered the deck of the boat. Something was wrong, very wrong. The rags she wore were soaked, and clung to her heavily.
Could this get any worse? [Could it? I asked the emulator, it said yes, and it involves Various Examples of Nature. That seems obvious enough. Gonna take a little break, than we'll see if Winnie can handle Various Examples of Nature.]

I don't know what to put here right now.
