    But I used a ruler. D:

I'll double check and fix it if necessary. I may have made a mistake there. Thanks for the help, love, as per.

Tried fiddling around with the angle, and no matter how I try and line up the several straight edges the top part of the spear seems to be correct. Unless I'm doing something wrong.

I think the problem is the lower portion of the spear matches up, but the upper half doesn't, and it gives the impression of a bent shaft (innuendo not intended).

Maybe try centering the end of the spear between the two red lines? I honestly wouldn't have noticed it without the red lines though.

I'll take a look at this tomorrow, Grif. (It's quite possible I was mistaken. I did base it off my tablet pen, which isn't totally straight. XD)

    Meanwhile, from the stream tonight:

Not sure how long I spent.. Sort of lost track of time. XD

Ah, I see. Assuming that is what Sherly meant, of course. I thought that she meant something more like...

...which makes much more sense. We'll see what Sherly says.

Yes. That's what I was seeing, basically.

This is how I was seeing it, but I can definitely understand how you arrived at the spear end being where yours is at, too, Grif. (It's just a slightly shift one way or another, depending on how you were holding your ruler.) Now, my redline has a tangent with the bottom of the mask -- that would need to be adjusted, too. I think you can make the adjustment in his hand, without changing the hand, really.. The spot just behind his pinky finger -- I think you could bend the pole slightly there and give yourself a bit of room up at the top part by doing so. Because of the way his hand is positioned, the bend in the pole really wouldn't be terribly obvious (because the ring finger curves out slightly and may make it look like it's the natural shape of the spear, making it seem straight.) Just a suggestion, possibly worth a try.

Ah, I see. That also makes more sense. I might have a little fiddle around with the spear's hilt and fix the tangent problem.

And it's not a mask, love. That's actually his face. :3

Ooooh! What shape is his skull? Since he doesn't appear to have a conventional mouth, does it just curve down, straight into his neck? How does it eat? Through the holes on either side going down?

Hiatus over, I think I'm going to revert to shading basic shapes. It's fairly boring, but, perhaps, necessary. ^^"

It's an understandable mistake. :3 And he doesn't eat in the typical sense. I believe I mentioned he was for a fantasy roleplay. He's a necromancer of sorts, and gains sustenance by literally draining the nutrients and materials from corpses. If you have those abilities it makes sense to use them, don't you think? Suffice to say, he's not a very sociable bloke.

I originally added in those ridges (or holes) as decoration, simply how his skull created bumps and ridges across the skin where his jaw would be, but I've been tempted to make them his nostrils. Because heavy breathing needs to be louder.
