I had some time (like 1,5 hour) and well I decided to paint a landscape, just because I had never done it before. I don't think it is great, but for a first try it is pretty okay. The painting is from a little church in my village.

I didn't do the leaves along the frame yet, or well I tried and it looked horrible, so I didn't include them. With all the things that happened during me drawing I think I effectively painted for and hour.

Do you know what heroes are?
Say there is a chunk of meat.
Pirates will have a banquet and eat it,
but heroes will share it with other people.
    I want all the meat!

    That church is cute!

It looks pretty good for only an hour -- it looks like you hit on the majority of the value changes in your reference.. The bushes/topiary areas are a bit suspect, but I know from experience that those things are royal pain to paint. (Just watch your values on the bushes to our left -- the foreground bush is bleeding into the background bush a bit, where in the reference the bush closer to us is much darker than the one behind it.)

All-in-all, not a bad effort for just an hour! Keep it up!

    Looking bitching!

Apart from a few things here and there, because you got your foundational values down it actually works out really well. Even with the withheld focus on the itty bitty detail, it still comes out really easy to the eyes. It looks like it could even come across as a minimalistic style.
