James was hurtling downwards at a tremendous pace, hoping to catch up to Kawaii and rescue her, until he saw the water looking up below them. Kawaii entered with a splash, and he briefly thought to himself I wonder how Nekos take to water? They are cats afterall. This brought a slight grin to his face, and he did several flips and turns before landing into the water with a very small splash, worthy of a gold medal. His arms kicked into high gear, practicaly propelling him through the water like an engine, and even though he landed after Kawaii, he sped past her and pulled himself onto the sand.

Kawaii paddled through the water feeling like a drowned cat as she coughed on the water getting it up her nose making her eyes burn, hardly paying attention to James she desperately kicked toward shore, her tail trailing behind her as she heaved herself onto the sand choking and dragging herself further onto the sand "aah-haaaaaaaa-aaaa oh chee-ese and r-r-ice" she panted and gasped still laying on the sand

"Whats the matter? Not a fan of water?" He says with a smile as he sees her coughing and sputtering. He walks over and helps her up, grabbing her hand and pulling her on her feet. "Ok, where to?"

with her ears still plastered to her head she glares at James and his smug smile, then lashing her tail she walks toward the giant hut against the wall of the cavern "There of course"

"Well then lets go!" James grinned broadly and started running towards the hut with Kawaii.

Kawaii dashed out ahead of him on the sand. then stopped suddenly freezing in place, lifting her ears she swirled them around and looked intently at the sand "James wait I remember a monster under the sand " looking around she frowned and slowly stepped forward pulling her bow from her back and activating the string.
