It can be blamed for increased sexual activity/promiscuous behaviours...

(Even though stats show the number/rate has actually lowered)

Poor fashion sense, just look at all the dorky outfits characters in JRPGs dress in!

The heavens call! The earth cries out! The crowd roars! All calling on me to strike back against evil. Now listen up, villains! I am the champion of justice: Kamen Rider Stronger!

    Not really.

It's the complusion to play the games that causes the bad grades, not the games themselves and people could become compulsive with anything, if not games it would be something else occupying their time.

    Discuss.
Video games, like many works of art/creativity, are not inherently evil or corrupt. It what the person takes from their experience with said video game is what is to blame (granted those who take a violent approach are already a little "off"). As already discussed, humans are strange creatures, who would rather blame others for their mistakes than themselves. Examples include: Rap music, violent movies, sexually provocative television, The Catcher in the Rye, and even Uncle Tom's Cabin.
