Cyborg 009 Group RP

So far, I have myself and one other person who are interested in doing this. Any other takers who'd be interested in doing this?

Umm what is it exactly?

Cyborg 009 is an old anime that's been re-released a few times and it focuses on a group of people who were taken out of their lives and experimented on to become "Cyborgs", people who are half-human and half machine. They display a variety of different powers because they were all rebuilt differently. It focuses on their trials and tribulations that they go through together once they meet, particularly learning to accept one another and work together. I don't really want to give away too much but that's the basic premise.

Sounds pretty good. How many characters will there be?

So the idea is interesting but are they going to have to wear those kinda silly looking red and yellow uniforms, and have one of them being a kind of round guy with a crazy mustache?

lol funny clothes aside this was a pretty neat Anime. so i would assume we would be taking a more modern approach to it though.

@Rinn I don't really have a limit on the amount of characters though if it's canon, the limit'll be as many characters that there are in the show, which amounts up to 42, I believe and then some made ups too, to allow people creative freedom. I don't know if I should limit made ups or not though...maybe if they start running too rampant and not enough people are there to play some of the important canons...?

@Haikufrenzy I guess it depends if it's canon or not. I asked the other person interested in this to see what they want to do so we'll see what they say. However, if you're not interested in doing it canon, I'd be more than willing to do a one on one with you or even make a new board all together where we can have the loose premise of Cyborg 009 but make up a whole new cast, world and plot. ^^

@Desertrat Depends on what you mean by a more modern approach. I'd love to hear your idea and perhaps we can incorporate it in! =3

Well, maybe the weird uniforms for when we are lab rats. But ditch them as we escape and try to hide. Also for a more realistic side, they would be made as super soldiers, maybe prototypes for diffrent types of units. I alreayd have a cyborg ninja idea running through my head XD
