Well idk if breathing counts, since it's subconscious/regulated by a different area of the brain or something. I forget the specifics.
I say, bullshit.
Right now, I'm both sitting AND breathing, AND typing.
That's multiple things at once right there.
But, to be honest, when you get down to it, we're all doing half of all possible actions at once. Given for every action, there is the action of not doing that action, that is itself a unique action. So, while I'm sitting here, typing, and breathing, I'm also not slaying a dragon, nor anally raping a mermaid. So, eat it. I'm doing half of all possible actions ever right now. Just because my current selected half isn't as awesome as yours, doesn't mean I'm not multitasking infinitesimally.

People can't multitask in this country? I'll tell you why! It's the government! They spent all our money on Muslims, teaching them yoga! I can't send a saucy text and wank to porn at the same time, but Osama can do the lotus!
/Daily Mail.
Stupid newspaper.
"And on the pedestal these words appear: 'My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: look on my works, ye mighty, and despair.'"
Yeah but multi-tasking typically refers to multiple conscious actions like reading a book while watching tv. Both require a certain amount of thought and effort that not many can muster simultaneously.
What I'm saying is, physiologically you don't make the decision to breathe every second of every day. A part of your brain or nervous system or w/e controls it, over which you have no conscious control.
Multitasking would involve 2 separate activities you make the conscious, deliberate decision in which to engage.
