...
Hello.
This is a bit sudden, I know. I haven't been on this forum in ages; I'm extremely sorry for that. Responsibilities piled up suddenly and pretty much consumed me last year. I must apologize for not really warning anyone of my absence.
Anyhow, this is a new year. It's about time I get back to roleplaying. The main issue I'm having is the fact that I believe I've gotten quite shaky. I don't really remember much about roleplaying.
Still, I feel I've matured over the course of these past months. My mind is full of ideas and my fingers are ready to write paragraph after paragraph. As such, I'm always open for more partners.
If anyone were to volunteer to roleplay something, I'm willing to give my 100% not only to the brave soul who volunteered, but also to all the characters and world-building that will be needed to make a good and durable roleplay. I'm willing to play male or female, so don't be afraid to ask.
As I said, I'm a bit shaky. I don't really remember how Interest Checks worked. I recall that you were supposed to list things, so I shall now list things.
So...
I think it would be a good idea to list my favourite fandoms:
If your original plot is interesting, I'm willing to give it a shot! PM me if you have an idea you think will pique my interest!
One more thing! I'm a very laid-back kind of person. I'll do yuri, yaoi, het...whatever. Hell, I'll even try to get into a pairing you like just for the sake of making you happy. I'm willing to roleplay ALMOST any genre. (I must admit I have a preference for romance, history and fantasy, though.) I say almost because there are some things I just can't do. (Such as any roleplay that touches on serious subjects such as rape or pedophilia.) I'm sure that SOMEONE out there can make a decent roleplay with believable and complicated characters with those concepts, but that person is not me.
I suppose I should also include some requirements:
- You should be able to write English well. You don't have to be Shakespeare, but please make sure that everything makes sense. (I can forgive a minor misspelling, but if you switch "bare" to "bear", the entire sentence's meaning is changed and I'll be incredibly confused.) That being said, I don't really judge based on grammar. I also make mistakes; English isn't everyone's first language.
- You should tell me if you have to leave suddenly. I'll try my hardest to alert you if I have to go on a sudden hiatus.
- You should know your limits. If I say I can't do something, I honestly can't. I'm sorry. I honestly wish to have a smooth roleplay; I couldn't live with myself if it ended simply because one of us was too hard-headed to leave certain concepts alone.
...And that's it. Standards? What are those? Like I said, I'm a laid-back person. I don't have qualms with PM roleplays or threads. I'll go with whichever is easier and more acceptable to you.
That's it from me. I don't want to overstay my welcome, so I'll just leave you with parting words:
I'm extremely anxious to read any reply. I'm looking forward to roleplaying with you, reader!
