Homestuck could have been better

I've been reading homestuck every year and always have. I really didn't enjoy the first act until the trolls part. There are only 12 trolls. If there were more troll characters added to the web comic then homestuck would have been better. More trolls to know about, more to learn. Anyone else think the same way?

That's already more characters than many shows, movies, and novels.
Plus, as Nargle said, there's 24 of them. Yes, technically they've been dead for ages, but they're still in the webcomic as characters. So you can, you know, "learn" about them.

Dead characters in HS are never really dead. They have a million ways they could come back to life, and even if they don't, you'll still see them quite a bit in dream bubbles and they'll really never stop being a part of the story.

There are plenty of trolls.
