Well, I sort of did once. Kangaroo made one a while back and I joined it, but then despite having ~10 players the only posts that ever got put up in the IC were his OP, my intro post, and one other person's intro post. Died after that because of lazy people. That's where I met CommunistZed, which makes it an even more negative experience than just being a failed RP.

Aside from that the closest I've gotten to playing a nation RP was one that never even got to the IC stage that rpg101 made with.. I think it was Kangaroo and Grif acting as co-GM/idea guys. Yeah, those two. Made a sheet for it, but didn't get to the point of actually playing it, sadly.

What the fuck is up with Kangaroo being involved in the leadership of failed nation RPs I try to join? I'm deciding now that I'm avoiding him like the plague, because two times = obvious pattern that will always hold true.

Well of mine I was right on the brink of leaving the guild and was getting absolutely hammered by RL so I was putting boot up proverbial arse.

I've GMed succesful nation rps before but the one with rpg, it never went beyond the development and discussion phase.
